About Project Hover

It took me several failed ideas, and names for those ideas, before I realized that I just couldnt keep on thinking up new names for every new idea. So, instead, I tried to pick one name which would encompass any other new ideas I might think of in the future. I went with Project Hover, because it sounded like it could be the name of a company, a club, organization, or publication. I knew that I wanted a phrase which suggested concepts associated with floating or flying through the sky, and then I thought of the word Hover. This was great because I would be focussing on social media and technology which took advantage of the Cloud, but at the same time I wanted to create an entity which was separate from the cloud. I thought of flying saucers, and how they could land, hover above the ground, or zig-zag between the clouds (at least, the flying saucers that Ive seen on TV and in movies can do that). When I began to work out the exact types of documents I was going to produce, I began to use the word Hover to create new terminology such as Hovernote, and Hoverzine. This article that you are reading is a Hovernote. It can be as long or as short as possible and be compiled as a part of a larger collection, but always exists as a separate entity (much like the flying saucers). Groups of Hovernotes might be organized together and published as a Hoverzine. Hopefully, youre starting to get an idea of where this is going. The mission for Project Hover is simple. Discover new ways to create and aggregate content via the web in as many different forms and formats as possible. Put simply, I want to devote my limited amount of free time towards creating content, and then let the tools on the Internet take care of the task of distributing it out to an audience. But, how do I do that efficiently? That is just one of the questions that I am trying to answer through my experiments in what I call content dynamics.
