Provided solution to the national transmission network operator problem
through leading a pilot research project on dynamic thermal conductor rating (DTCR) technology and secured client's approval for RM 2.68 million funding for the research project Conducted condition monitoring of switchgears and transformers at more than 200 substations in Selangor and Johor states using ultrasonic scanner. Together with thermographic scanning equipment, diagnosis conducted managed to reduce unplanned outage in the Selangor state distribution system at 11 and 33 kV level by about 30%
