AWANA Volunteers Needed Would you help a child hide Gods Word in their heart so that they will have its truths for the rest of their lives? If so, please prayerfully consider serving as a volunteer in Awana Clubs on Wednesday evenings through the school year. Volunteer and leader training will be August 15 at 6:00 pm in the Kids Worship Room. Contact David Ford at 803-520-5671 to volunteer to work with school aged children, and Lori Ford at 803-520-5669 to work with preschool ages. Promotion Sunday Promotion Sunday is August 26. This will be jammed packed day of family fun, but it also marks the end of our teaching year. Some of our current preschool and childrens ministry teachers will move on to serve in other areas at Northside, leaving opportunities for others to step in and use God given gifts and talents to make a difference in a childs journey of faith. If you would be willing to invest in the life of a child with a Sunday morning commitment, please contact David Ford at 803-520-5671 for Children and Lori Ford at 803-5205669 for Preschool. New LIFE Group Curriculum Starts August 26! Belief Know What You and Others Believe. This is an exciting study that will help to ground you in your personal faith and learn the fundamentals of other faiths in order to help you in sharing the gospel with family, friends and co-workers in your community, workplace and other places your life takes you. If you are not a member of a LIFE Group, pick up a brochure at the Welcome Desk and join today! Empty Water Bottles Needed Northside Kids on Mission will be collecting clean empty water bottles during the month of August. We will have collection buckets in the foyer of the church.

Accountability groups will meet various days and times and also meet together monthly with Pastor Rocky for breakfast and Bible study. Operation Christmas Child Christmas in July Thank you to everyone who participated either by filling up a shoebox or providing materials or money for the shoeboxes. 683 boxes were taken to the OCC Processing Center in Charlotte last Friday. A special thank you to VBS and Unite! Your supported created nearly 400 of these boxes!

Worship Choir Fall Kickoff Theres no better time to get involved in choir! Come join us for our Fall Semester Kickoff on Wednesday, August 22nd at 6:00pm in the choir room. No audition is required. Music & Missions Kickoff Join the fun as the Music & Missions Fall semester begins on August 26 at 5-7 pm, located upstairs in the Kids Worship Room. The children will enjoy some special activities and games as the secret is revealed for the Christmas musical! You are not going to want to miss this time of celebration. Northside Parking Team Assistants Needed Northside desires to make a positive first impression by providing a team of enthusiastic volunteers that welcome our members and guests. One way we do this is by helping to provide efficient traffic flow as folks arrive and exit. This is an area that has a GREAT need for additional volunteers.
