The company for which has been selected by me is Honda. This is one of the leading automobile Companies. Basically through a lot of research and conclusion I have selected this company as it is one of the most sustained company in the competitive world all around and also it take cares of the environment through different aspects. It also provides the best quality and is better than much of its competitors. It is a Japanese automaker offering full line up of vehicles in U.S.A., the Acura which is one of the leading brands in luxury cars. In early when this company came in 1946 this produced only motor cycles in his early days established by Soichiro Honda. This company uses gasoline cylinders, diesels engines and gasoline electric hybrid system. The other alternatives used by Honda are ethanol, natural gas and fuel cell vehicles. For maintain the environment they carry out two types of activities such as emission and resource reduction. Emission are the market based tools used by these companies to reduce the pollution as low as possible as per the level and standards set by government and resource reduction such as gas, electricity, water and safe building materials. In response to environment issues this company has strengthened its commitment while solving it on a global scale. Every automobile company have the habit of poking their nose in one anothers odd business of technical as they have to face severe competition from all over the world since it sets a big edge. The Honda began its research in 1960 with a separation of division of Honda Motor Co. This was done to achieve a goal for the customer satisfaction who ever already a part of Honda Group. History
Soichiro Honda the developer of Honda motorcycles was a racer, a businessman and a manufacturer. But most of all he was a dreamer. He dreamed of giving people everywhere an economical form of transportation, and began producing small motorcycles including one built in 1949 called the D-type dream. He worked from the time he was a teenager in an auto repair shop because of which he had a great understanding of the mechanical end of things. In 1928 Honda opened his own repair shop. He started the Honda Motor Company in 1948 when he was 41 years of age. They manufactured several two stroke and four stroke motorcycle models. Honda Motor Company is by far the world's biggest motorcycle maker. In July 1958 Honda introduced the C100 Super Club which is known as the most successful motorcycle in the world which was a cheap and a versatile model which could be used by everyone. Honda became the largest manufacturer of motorcycles in the world by 1959. Throughout the 1970's Honda continued to rule the motorcycle industry. In 1975 Honda introduced GL1000 Gold Wing as a touring bike which brought a whole new level of comfort and style to touring bikes. Honda are among the top sellers in the motorcycle industry because of their unique designs, long lasting equipment, and low cost motorcycle models. In 1967 Honda had their first big off-road win in the "first" Baja 1000. In 1968 Honda stopped production of the CB72 and CB77 and introduced CB250 and CB350. In 1987 CBR600F "Hurricane" Honda's first fully faired four-cylinder street bike was introduced. In 1991 the company founder Soichiro Honda passed away. In 2004 Honda prototyped a motorcycle which is powered by a fuel cell. Honda was the first manufacturer to offer a motorcycle with air bag crash protection. In 2011 the CBR250R was introduced.In 1970s Honda continuously ruled during that year in motor cycle industry and developing new motor cycle which people couldnt get enough due to the ever increasing demand. With the establishment of many organisations such as World Trade Organisation (WTO) which implements the (GATT) General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade it has been discussed that sustainability should not be considered in some cases since it is used in almost all things such as healthy economic base, sound environment, stable environment, adequate purchasing power, distribution equality, natural self reliance and maintenance of culture integrity. Sustainability is basically considered as a combination of all the things mentioned above such as economic and self reliance and all. It is seen and observed that economic sustainability is given the most important than any other kind of sustainability it is not a universal consensus but this is how it works in todays globalisation world. Problems Faced and the expansion of the Business of the Company: Honda operates in almost each and every part of the world. Honda has manufacturing operations in 6 regions worldwide driven by its philosophy it bring its products close to the customer. It delivered around 27 million of its products to its customers in the first half of the year 2011.In early stages It is very strange fact that around the year 2011-12 during this year they had dropped down their sale by 40 percent in India and in popular countries like Seden around 20 percent at that time they brought an idea to launch a small segment car into the crowded Indian markets like Hond Jazz.Keeping the loss in mind they came with an innovation of merging with Siel, a Siddhardth Shriram Group Company and decided to cut down the prices of model like Honda Jazz which is the best example in small cars during that time. During this time of year they also faced many other disruptions and the major problem which they faced was in the Indias diesel subsidy since petrol prices had risen by 33 percent while diesel only 8 percent this was one of the major drawbacks during that year since most of in fact 90 percent those who buy luxury and SUV cars preferred diesel version cars. It does not have a fit diesel engine that supports Indian market. The other major reason for is loss the company does not have any specific solution for diesel engines. But they are continuously striving on it and its been said by Seki Inaba , Director Sales and Marketing of Japan that they will overcome this problem in few years. Considering all this factors in 2011 for sustainable Society where their motto was that People Can Enjoy Life they adopted the Joy and Freedom of Mobility for the Honda environment vision. This vision aims in increasing its global efforts to find solutions to the climate change and issues on energy. The main reason for their failure in some of the products was the lack of strategic vision within the company. The higher rate of import and fluctuations in currency rate of foreign countries make it costlier. Also the idea and concept of launching small cars in crowded market was too late and when launched was at a higher rate these are some of the major factors and problems that arise Some of the basic solutions to overcome this problems and which they are continuously striving on is to bring economies of scale and keeping in mind the existing customers also find many other new customers. Offering better price and lowering component cost and increasing the level of localisation. Most of their products are imported so they should innovate and see to it they opening a new line and see if they can export and if it works out or not this can be a very good idea to overcome their problems since they import everything export will increase its profit and increase their revenue at a greater margin. The economies of scale will help in generating lower component cost under models. When export is done according to the market condition you can reduce the prices whenever and when needed cost is saves your import costs which include transportation cost and many other direct and indirect taxes. It is got all the product rights the only thing that will hold its future in the pricing which they need to plan and design carefully in order to increase their sales and demand in the market and also take care of full customer satisfaction considering these factors will automatically make the company sustainable in the market. Also by pricing Brio they can reduce the disadvantages they face due to the diesel engines luxury and SUV cars and gained popularity and established successfully in the Indian market. As seen the recent massive price cuts has been also a major cause to the production of volumes of the company. One of the major plans keeping in mind of the environment it is among one of the 13 companies to issue a joint declaration of their intention to introduce fuel cell vehicles in Japan 2015.The declaration consists of the cooperative relations between the business policies of the automobile manufacturers and the energy related companies.

In an economic it can be said that for any business to be successful in long term success of the companys profit and profitability are two major elements which are recognized by people. As in todays world industrialization and economy is growing rapidly in most of the countries like India and China the demand for resources has become stronger day by day. As the company keeps on progressing day by day it starts moving and look towards the new strategies and long term objectives beyond it internal opportunities it also starts looking for external opportunities so the money invested in technology also increases. It is important for each and every company to integrate health and safety measures to achieve sustainability in operation management and integrate employees working in the organisation. Health and safety is a must and a key focus of risk reduction. Also in some cases reverse supply chain occurs in which when the company has received a maximum profit margin the customer return its products like distribution phase, repairs and product phase, end of use ,end of ease and unused products back and the one who has provided put back for sale and place it in a shelf. As reported by corporations sustainability is considered as an emerging trend. It studies and determines the attitude of students towards environment and sustainability. In a new era of sustainability is about identification of the business service which is related with environment and social cost. In any company manager in todays world should be aware of these two types of cost. If manager are aware about this two they can take a further step in reducing this and providing improved profit and lesser environmental effect. It been believed by most of them that is has a wide range of potential and to change the ways and techniques of how business can be practise and change in real world with improved results and efforts. Everything in this world has some or the other price or cost. It is rightly said Nothing is free in this world.It is fact and cost is a combination of factors such as economic, social and environmental against the offsetting associated with each cost that is made by each individual. Also corporations trend are very much important in any business trends. It can be considered as a recognized means for company to communicate among the internal staff members and operate within physical and social environment. Sustainability and environment are such two factors and the importance of green retailing and revolution has become importance in each and every part of the world and field. The environment management helps to reduce waste, increase efficiency, cut cost and protect against environmental liabilities. This environment facilities helps in facilitate in adoption of sustainable practices. The projects about keeping the environment green include variety of things such as flexibility, energizing strategies optimum utilisation of resources at any point in a life of the project. Green remediation is also very much important it has major six elements such as energy requirements of the treatment system air

emission, water requirements and impacts on water resources, land and eco-system impacts, material consumption and water generation and long term stewardship actions. Evaluation practices are a way of building sustainability into site and encouraging green remediation such as biodiesel used in diesel engines. It is necessary to consider the waste management services for the lifecycle cost of the products used. Reducing the generation of this waste resources helps in cutting down of cost and maintaining clean environment also alternative sources such as renewable energy sources can be used like carbons footprint decreasing fossil fuel prices and making a way for new energy markets. Taking into consideration of Hondas environment it is based on a global perspective. It has a special system called as Life Cycle Assessment in which each product is evaluated throughout its life. The environmental are guided by analyses and effects of the business activities carried out and use of its products on the global environment. While carrying out all the environmental issues which are faced firstly and the most important is about the green remediation if energy frequently technologies are used more frequently such as Superfund Natural Priority List, multi-phase extractions and soil vapour extractions. Due to the use of natural resources and energy consumptions its severe system and optimizing energy results in significant reductions. If feasible and careful studies are done it can compare the environmental footprint of each clean up. Efforts in minimizing and finding better ways and solutions for disposing of waste at every stage of lifecycle of these products. 3. It makes efforts and also makes sure from each and every member not only in the company but also in the society to preserve global health and environment to do his part and act responsible. 4. They will also consider the influence in the local market which they have by the members of corporative activities and endeavour to improve the social standard of the company. The aim and vision of this company is that by the end of 2020 they will work continuously and achieve its target and firstly they will do their work on priority items such as research and development and energy efficient products to the market. Secondly they have also planned regarding their products which they are going to initiate which will take at least 3 years and this plan

has kept in mind of keeping the environmental impacts. There were also divisions formed for the environment and sustainability and also for the divisions of energy. These were basically done in support to co-ordinate the more effectively on behalf of the members of the society. Environment and sustainability can be said to be long term maintenance of ecosystem components and for the functioning of future generation and needs. The quality of a policy and proposal for ensuring the impact of the environment that is positive. It is quite obvious that the natural resources and the importance to human activity is an economic concern. Since the environment and economy are personally linked improving environmental quality and also helps in improvisation of the economy which in turn results in quality of life for the people of the world and economic development. The economic development results in improving human living standards resulting in economic growth. Economic growth is usually measured by percentage change in companies Gross Domestic Product (GDP).It is basically designed to measure the outputs of nations. They provide certain standard measures and compare economic output of nations. It is very much necessary to understand the concepts of integrated economic environmental and economic ecological if carefully studied and analysed can play an interesting role in giving out information for the environment management and policy which is designed. This policy may not only involve a combination of multidisciplinary concepts and theories but also synthesis of methods and models. The information which is required of formulation and policies is originated from the environmental sciences and formulation and implementation of environmental management. The main content in todays world is related to as how people perceive ecological sustainability and sustainable development. As seen from a broader perspective the orientation which has been chosen for this shares with the broader field of ecological economics with adopting a wide view on relevant causes and effects in time, space and parts of economical environmental systems. In such cases it is generally found that it is impossible to detect the impacts, relevance and ranking of development and policy options without the support of accurate method for analysing complex evaluation of complex and decision problems. To resolve this issues and problems they are various alternative methods which are available that reflects the reflection between economies and ecology. At the end also when all the solutions are provided this all solution are analysed and the best solution from among them is chosen in order to generate the information is given for guiding towards suitable management and policy decision towards sustainable development.
