Transmission Planning, Provisioning & FM Engineer Global Network Solutions Centre consultant Ikya (Since July 2009 Till Date) My responsibility includes Fault Management, Configuration Management & Performance Management of VODAFONE Australia, VIDEOCON Tamilnadu, Kerala circle & IDEA Bihar network. Fault Management of Nokia Siemens Radio Access (RAN/BSS) equipments comprising 2G BTS, BSC, TCSM, 3G WBTS and RNC & Detailed expertise in application, analysis and customization of various Radio Access- Fault Management tools provided by Nokia Siemens (NetAct/DX200/IPA). Provisioning and planning of the 2Mb Circuits, VC3 Ckts and STM1, STM4 & STM16 link on Siemens, ECI, Huawei, Tejas and NEC SDH Transport network elements. Analyzing and troubleshooting of NSN, Ceragon and NEC microwave links of both PDH & SDH. Analyzing and troubleshooting of Siemens, ECI, Huawei, Tejas and NEC SDH Transport network elements. E1 provisioning for new sites, A-Ter, POI links, GPRS links through NMS. Responsible for all configuration changes like PDH to SDH migration, BSC rehoming, E1 rerouting in alternate path, etc. Performing Software upgradation and new node addition of all MW & MUX in NMS. Coordination with field engineers for troubleshooting the fault and raising task to them wherever their intervention is required. Preparing & analyzing performance report for all microwave links.

Preparing NE visibility report of all transmission equipments and circulating to field on daily basis to make 100% node visibility. Conducting Acceptance Test (AT) of all transmission equipments. Verifying the installation data of transmission equipments with Link Budget data which is published in Site Plus tool during AT. Coordination with third party leased line vendors for media related outages and to improve the Network Availability.

Applications Used: SOM, SOO, Citrix, PNMSj, Ceraview, TNMS, ECIview, Site Plus & MapInfo. Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd. O&M Engineer-consultant Team Lease (Since Aug 2008- July 2009) My responsibility includes integration & maintenance of AIRTEL Chennai network. Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance of Ericssons Macro RBS 2202, RBS 2206, RBS 2204, RBS 2964 of Ericsson GSM cellular Equipments. Commissioning & Maintenance of Microwave Equipments Ericssons Minilink E Classic, Minilink Traffic Node and Ericsson High Cap Microwave (STM) with Tellabs DXX6320 (PDH, SDH environment). Monitoring BTS alarm from BSC and responsible for first level alarm clearance.
