2012 Summer Olympics Countries Performance Analysis

The computed index shows the overall performance of the countries in the 2012 summer olympics. It is a function of the
percentage of athletes with at least 1 medal compared to the total number of athletes participated in the games from each
country.
However, a normalized score is then assigned in refrence to the number of sports in which the medals are won by each
country.

Rank

Therefore the computed index can be regarded as such to show the overall performance of the partitipating countries in the
games.
