This course is designed to give an essence of the concepts and techniques of project estimating and project cost control in the engineering construction. It is suitable for engineer those who intend to gain an additional knowledge of cost management in construction project. You will learn the process to quantify the cost of building and civil engineering works of construction by taking into account the elements such as material, labour, plant and unit cost of the various items of works as itemized in a Bill of Quantities or Specification of Works. The course contents are also emphasizes on the remedial action to comply with set targets and the external factors that might influence original project costs This 2-days intensive course is both practical and interactive, supplemented with useful course note, real-life case studies and working examples.
