J1GR-FE ENGINE 1. General
D A heater has been added to the air injection pump of the models except for Mexico. The operating temperature range of the air injection system has been changed so that this model is compliant with LEVII-ULEV Cold HC. D The 1GR-FE engine is compatible with gasoline/ethanol mixed fuel which contains up to 20% ethanol (E20). Unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 (research octane number 91) or higher can be used on this engine.

D A heater has been added to the air injection pump of A/T vehicles. D The 2TR-FE engine is compatible with gasoline/ethanol mixed fuel which contains up to 20% ethanol (E20). Unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 (research octane number 91) or higher can be used on this engine.
