Company Information: Wartsila Bangladesh Limited (WBD). SMC tower (3rd floor), 33 Banani C/A. Dhaka 1213. Bangladesh. Power Plant Dutch Bangla Power Plant Limited (DBPL), Narayonganj, Dhaka. Operation and Maintenance by Wartsila Bangladesh Limited. Power Plant Information100 MW, Heavy Fuel Oil /Diesel engine based quick rental power plant. Twelve Wartsila 20V32 model diesel engines, each of 8.9 MW capacities. Four Exhaust Gas Boiler run by engine exhaust and one boiler run by diesel fuel to provide continuous steam supply to engine and auxiliaries. Water treatment unit to provide continuous supply of pure, soft water to engine cooling system and to boilers. Two piston type and two screw type air compressor to provide compressed air to pneumatic system. Automatic control and protection system comprise of Wartsila Engine Safety Module (Processor based fast acting safety module), Relay, PLC and 24 hours close monitoring. Safety and fire fighting equipments.

Major Responsibilities: Perform duty in shift and in maintenance by rotation on demand. Operation and maintenance of engine, engine auxiliaries, PLC, protection and automation system. Operation and maintenance of four Exhaust gas boiler and one diesel driven boiler to make sure continuous supply of steam. Operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment 132 KV transformer and circuit breaker and MVAC equipment- 11 KV transformer, Circuit breaker,230 KVA Black start backup Generator and Low voltage AC, DC system, IPS and Switchgear. Paper work and documentation in Microsoft Office packages, and communicate co-ordinate daily, monthly work flow with client Orion Group.

Position: Electrical Engineer (Commissioning and servicing). Duration: From 1st April 2009 to 30th June 2011.

Company Information: DDC Ltd (Development Design and Consultants Limited) DDC center, 47, Mohakhali C/A. Dhaka. Major Responsibilities: Commissioning and servicing of high and medium voltage ac electrical equipment (Generator, Transformer, switchgear) in projects of different places in Bangladesh. Support sales team in meeting with clients.
