4th High Table Dinner (2011-2012)

Date: 28th February 2012 (Tuesday) Time: Dinner starts at 7:00pm sharp. Venue: Ho Tim Hall

Please note the following:

1.

For vegetarians, please submit your request for special dishes to Hall Office on or before 23 February 2012.

2.

For application for absence or late coming (with medical or academic reasons), please submit your application with supporting documents to Hall Office before 23 February 2012.

3.

You are reminded to submit your meal card to the collection box or reception counter soon after the high table dinner. Otherwise, you would be fined with an administrative charge of $10.

STARR HALL NOTICE (Residents must read) High Table Dinner 2011-2012
Please note: A. Request for absence / late coming / early leaving 1. If any hallmates cannot attend, he/she must write a formal letter with supporting to the Warden at least 3 working days before (please refer to the deadlines shown). Late request will not be accepted (only medical reason with certified doctor certificate will be exempted). If you cannot provide supporting documents together with the formal request before the deadline, you must submit the supporting by latest 12:00pm of the actual High Table Day, to Hall Office or reception counter. Late submission of supportings on the day following the after High Table Dinner will not be accepted and you will serve one warning. 2. Please directly submit your letter plus supporting document on or before the deadline to the Hall Office (from 9:00am to 5:00pm) or reception counter (non-office hour) for administrative process. PLEASE DONT PLACE YOUR REQUEST FOR ABSENCE/LATE COMING IN WARDENS PIGEON HOLE. 3. In the letter, please clearly indicate the date of request, your name, room no., contact no. and email address. 4. Academic reason may be accepted for the absence/late coming. If you have supporting to show you have examination/project on or one day after High Table Dinner, your request may also be approved. 5. If it is for medical reason, please provide medical certificate from certified doctor. 6. Other than academic and medical reasons, your request for absence/late-coming will not be approved. 7. Early leaving is not allowed. If you have genuine reasons for early leaving, you must seek prior approval from the Warden or Senior Tutors. B.

Meal Card Please be reminded to bring your meal card to High Table Dinner as a proof of attendance. Please drop the meal card in the collection box at the main entrance of restaurant

when high table dinner finishes. If you forget to bring your meal card or in case you havent received a meal card, please report to the staff-in-charge and write down your name to the staff. Starrians who dont write down your name will count for absence of high table dinner and serve a warning. Starrians who forget to bring your meal card should return the meal card to reception counter at the same night of High Table Dinner.
