ST. DENNIS FUNDRAISER SUCCESS CONTINUES

Now Gas/Electric bills may be paid through Ambit. Thank you friends of St. Dennis who are participating in our Natural Gas & Electric Fundraising Program through Ambit Energy. Households have seen the savings on monthly statements. St. Dennis is receiving monthly donations averaging over $400 now with 250 service enrollments from Ambit which will continue to grow. Dear Family, I would like to thank the 160 golfers who participated in our 2nd annual golf outing this past Saturday at Broken Arrow Golf Course and to all those who joined us for Casino Night at St. Dennis. A special thanks to the committee who organized this special event: Brian & Jennifer Swaw, Sam & Kari Aiello, Kevin & Susan Bussey, Susie Dolci, Chris & Jenn Kilmartin, Brian Leonard and Todd Kurteff. We raised $23,000 to support our children at St. Dennis School. I ask God to bless all who worked so hard to make this fun event a wonderful success. Our Pioneer Committee met this Wednesday and began with a Mass of thanksgiving in the church. Our group goal last year was $110,000 and we have $116, 000 in paid donations to date. Fifty-nine percent of the donations to the Pioneer Campaign came from the parish, 15% from school families and 26% from donors outside of the parish. The money raised was divided into the following areas, as directed by donors: $14,900 to the Endowment Fund, $8,300 for grant scholarships to 8 families who could not otherwise attend St. Dennis School, $70,300 to Greatest Need and $22,500 to Technology. These funds provided for a new $42,000 Science Lab and $32,000 in smartBoards for every classroom, including the Science Lab and Music Room.
