Eternal Comfort - Eternal Punishment

Paul was travelling from Jerusalem to Rome
as a prisoner. It was a ship journey on the sea.
Many other prisoners were in the same ship.
Including the crew and the prisoners, the ship was
carrying 276 people. On their way a storm was
blowing them so hard that the men threw the cargo
overboard. That was to make the ship lighter. A
day later they threw out ships equipment. The
storm was so bad that for many days they could
not see the Sun or the stars to guide them. The
terrible storm raged unabated many days until at
last all hope was gone. They had no hope of staying
alive they thought they would die. For a long
time the men didnt eat. No one had eaten for 14
days. One can imagine how their hearts were failing

with fear.
At that time a wonderful news of comfort
and encouragement came to them. Paul stood
before them and told them these astonishing words
of cheer. None of you will die! However the ship
will be lost. Last night an angel came to me from
the true God. This is the God I worship. I am
His. Gods angel said, Paul, dont be afraid! You
must stand before Caesar. And God has promised
to give you something good: He will save the lives
of all those sailing with you Not one of you will
lose even one hair of your head (Acts ch.27).
What a cheer to the dying people! After 14 days
of sorrow and starvation, they now ate their food.

Everything happened as Paul declared. Such

deliverance our God only can give.
Our God wants us to know that we too, in our
generation, have a comforting message from
heaven. That message of deliverance and comfort
says: Jesus, whom God raised from death, will
rescue us from the punishment that is coming from
God (1 Thess. 1:10 SEB). Yes, very soon this
will happen. The Bible warns about the impending
wrath of God which will be global and devastating.
Think of what God is telling:
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel
both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land
desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof
out of it (Isa. 13:9).
Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD
is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty
shall it come (Joel 1:15).
And the LORD shall utter his voice before
his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong
that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD
is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
(Joel 2:11).
For then shall be great tribulation, such as
was not since the beginning of the world to this
time, no, nor ever shall be (Matt. 24:21).
For these be the days of vengeance, that
all things which are written may be fulfilled (Luke
21:22).
For yourselves know perfectly that the day
of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For
when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden
destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a
woman with child; and they shall not escape

(1Thess. 5:2,3) For they are the spirits of devils,

working miracles, which go forth unto the kings
of the earth and of the whole world, to gather
them to the battle of that great day of God
Almighty (Rev. 16:14).
The Bible gives many more details about the
Day of the Lord. Here, the day of Lord means,
seven-year period of tribulation. During those 7
years, apart from the wrath of God, the Bible tells,
how people would have to receive the wrath of
Satan (Rev. 12:12), the wrath of the Lamb (Rev.
6:16), and the wrath of the Beast (Antichrist) (Rev.
13:15). One should read the Word of God to
know how terrible is our God to take vengeance
on the sinful, Christless world. The Bible warns,
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the
living God (Heb. 10:31). God Himself is putting
this questing: Can thine heart endure, or can thine
hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with
thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it
(Ezek. 22:14).
However, this Wrath is not on every one.
There are people whom God would love to spare.
They are the believers who loved Jesus and
followed Him. God has a good plan to rescue
them from the wrath by lifting them to His presence
in Heaven. God says to them, Because thou hast
kept the word of my patience, I also will keep
thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come
upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon
the earth (Rev. 3:10). For God hath not
appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by
our Lord Jesus Christ. And the very God of
peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your
whole spirit and soul and body be preserved

blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus

Christ (1 Thess. 5:9, 23). Any man who repents
and comes under the cleansing power of the blood
of Christ is saved and separated. They will be
taken up into heaven physically when the Lord
Jesus comes to mid-air for them. This is called
Rapture. Then comes the wrath on the earth. The
promise for those who are in Christ Jesus: For
the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with
a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with
the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall
rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall
be caught up together with them in the clouds, to
meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be
with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another
with these words (1 Thess. 4:1618). What a
comforting news for the believers! The prisoners
who were sailing along with Paul were given only
to escape from their death in that dangerous
situation. But here God is giving His people a joyful
escape from the wrath of all ages and the burning
hell. Here are some unfailing promises for us
because we are in Christ Jesus:
1)

To take us to a prepared place in heaven

and to settle us in a permanent new home.
There are many homes up there where my
Father lives, and I am going to prepare them
for your coming. When everything is ready,
then I will come and get you, so that you
can always be with me where I am. If this
werent so, I would tell you plainly (John
14:2, 3 TLB). To occupy heaven all the
believers will have to vacate their present
residential quarters on the earth very soon.
This vacation includes, furniture, money,

jewellery, clothes and everything. However,

their works towards Gods purpose will
follow them (Rev. 14:13).
2)

To change our humble bodies to be like His

glorious body. For our conversation is in
heaven; from whence also we look for the
Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall
change our vile body, that it may be fashioned
like unto his glorious body, according to the
working whereby he is able even to subdue
all things unto himself (Phil. 3:20, 21). Every
day, known or unknown to us, deadly
impediments try to subdue our bodies.
However careful we are, our aging bodies
come under deteriorating condition day by
day. The reason is that the Lord has not yet
redeemed our bodies, though our souls are
redeemed when we received Him as our
personal Savior. And not only they, but
ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of
the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within
ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit,
the redemption of our body (Rom. 8:23).

There are many more promises for the

people of the Rapture. (Please read 1 Cor.
15:5153; Col. 3:4; 1 Thess. 1:10; 1 Thess. 2:19;
2 Tim. 4:1, 8; 1 Pet. 1:7, 13). We all must desire
the day of Rapture and well prepare for the same.
The Holy Bible tells us to pray, And the Spirit
and the bride say, Come (Rev. 22:17). Seven
years after the Rapture, the Second Coming of
the Lord Jesus will take place. The Rapture is a
sudden event which may take place any time now
without any formality. It will happen in a moment,
in the twinkling of an eye (1 Cor. 15:5153). This

will happen in our generation. It is Gods doing.

In our State of Andhra Pradesh there are several
prisoners in the jails who have accepted the Lord
Jesus as their personal Savior through my writings.
They receive my monthly magazine regularly and
ask me for the Bibles. They write to me how they
have turned to Jesus whole heartedly. I send them
my books too. In these days these prisoners have
a very comforting news from the heaven.
Suddenly they go out of their prison walls. As
soon as they hear the trumpet sound from heaven
they would vanish. It is the Lords calling for them.
In the blink of an eye all these Christ-loving
prisoners will disappear from their fortified prison
barracks. The prison authorities and other fellow

prisoners will be shocked at this event. No gate

is opened and yet they disappeared. This is what
the Lord Jesus is doing to all the believers,
wherever they are, all over the world, to appear
in glory before Him. From schools, from offices,
from highways, from lanes and bylanes, from
hospitals and nursing homes, from cooking centers
say anything, no one will be left if they are waiting
for the King Jesus (Heb. 9:28). Only after they
leave the earth others will be punished.
Dear Reader, if you are living in Christ (Col.
3:4) and walking in Christ (Rom. 8:1), have this
comfort that the Lord will take you up soon and
make you as glorious as He is.

Under Gods direction, I have written a

new book. Its title is, The Inner Story Of Satan.
Satan deceives people and the nations (Rev. 20:8,
10). He is a destroyer. One of his names is
Apollyon which means Destroyer (Rev. 9:11).
The Bible warns us that we should not be fooled
by Satans tricks. Lest Satan should get an
advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his
devices (2 Cor. 2:11). Paul exposes Satan as
An angel of light and he has his ministers, the
deceitful Christian servants. For such are false
apostles, deceitful workers, transforming
themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no
marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an

angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his

ministers also be transformed as the ministers of
righteousness; whose end shall be according to
their works (2 Cor. 11:1315). Read the book
and you will have power to crush the Devil under
your feet and the God of peace will be with you
and bless you (Rom. 16:20).
