2M Plays
Notes From the Director
About fourteen years ago, a vision to create a company that would bring souls to Christ through uplifting, motivational, spiritual, and thought provoking entertainment was born. The median of this entertainment would be the theatrical stage where trained actors, well-developed scripts, and exceptional directing would enrich the lives of Gods people. These plays would allow Christians to grow in their understanding of Jesus will, grace, mercy, and love. The company would produce spiritual plays which would not only hold true to traditional theatre but would education and entertain using the following standards: The plays would focus on Gods words rather than song. Scripture would be quoted. Gods message would not secularized by profanity and stage buffoonery. Characters and plots would be well developed and relatable. The plays would contain messages that could positively impact peoples lives, their relationships with others, and their connection to God.

Possessing a B.S. in psychology with a certification in special education, she works with exceptional children for Guilford County Schools.

In January 2004, the vision of this theatre company was brought to fruition . Created by my wife and me, 2M plays represents a true marriage of talent and vision. What a blessing it has been for God to allow this vision to come to fruition and to show Himself in a mighty way. Stepping out on faith on this project and others has reveled to me even more about what an awesome God we serve. I dont have the space in this program to write about all of the tremendous blessings that have come our way. He has sent talented people to help with the production in time of need and given us favor with businesses when we didnt see a way. Jesus just worked it out. A Date with Destiny is a true testament to Gods power to heal, save, clean hearts, and perform miracles. Im so glad that He has used my wife to put the words on paper and me to bring the words to life on stage to show Gods love for us all, through it all.
