WENGER, what a history!

It was in 1893 that WENGER was founded in Delmont, the heart of the Swiss canton, Jura. A passion for innovation, precision and fine craftsmanship fuelled the companys growth. WENGER, the maker of the genuine Swiss Army knife, rapidly became well known throughout the world. But the story does not end there! In the last 20 years, WENGER has added to its range of products travel bags, Swiss-made watches, footwear as well as many other products for active consumers. WENGER remains true to its roots as a manufacturer of multi-functional tools for outdoor activities and is always looking forward. The adventure continues!

WENGER, quelle histoire!

C'est en 1893 que WENGER est fond Delmont, dans l'actuel canton du Jura suisse. L'entreprise s'est dveloppe autour d'une passion pour l'innovation, la prcision et l'artisanat. All Wenger lighters are manufactured from high-quality materials and are refillable. Three models (Clava, Hydor, Asterion) employ Piezoelectric ignition systems which allow for an air mixture into the fuel before ignition. This produces an ultra hot (2000F), powerful blue flame that works at high altitudes (up to 3200m/10,500ft) and in windy (up to 80mph) or wet condition.
