PROJECT LISTS

1) Ultrasonic Range Finder / Distance Meter. Use ultrasonic senor to find range. 2) Laser based distance meter. Based on laser transmitter circuitry. 3) DTMF based Remote control. Make a call from mobile 1 to a mobile-2. Then depending on buttons pressed on mobile 1, we can control relays to switch ON-OFF the equipments. (Home Automation)
4) Temperature measurement.

Use temperature sensors like LM35 to get ambient temperature, interface the same using ADC of microcontroller, temperature data can be sent to serial port for display purpose. (We can also make some GUI to display / store the data).
5) Programmable Scrolling message display system.

An LED based display system (Dot Matrix) used extensively now-adays in hotels/ hospitals/ railways etc to display messages. (16X16 / 16 X 32 etc).
6) RFID based Door Access Control System

Wireless door access system using micro controller and RF module. There is one receiver (RX) connected to the door and user have one RFID tag (TX). Receiver reads ID of user and validates. If any tag is kept near the reader the receiver will read the tag and door will open if its a authorized tag and a proper message will be displayed on the screen.
7) I2C protocol based complete clock and calendar with multiple Alarm

facility. Here student need to self study a serial protocol known as I2C (Inter IC communication / IC to IC communication / TWI (Two Wire

Interface). After which student have to study about RTC (Real Time Clock) DS1307 (Provided on Uniboard it self). 8) Stepper motor / Servo motor control. 9) Resistive touch screen based motor control. The resistive touch screen provides in analogue format; convert this data to digital using ADC and use the same to get X-Y coordinate of touch screen and take some action. 10)
11)

Water level Indicator.

Interfacing Temperature, pressure, accelerometer, humidity, color, gyro, alcohol, CO2, LPG sensor. (Data Logger System)
12) 13)

Microcontroller based Metal detector. Games (like snake game) using Nokia 3310 LCD. Basic robotics use of sensor inputs and motor driver for various

14)

Projects like line follower etc. Audio generation: use of inbuilt buzzer and PWM for various monophonic tone generations using computer keyboard.
15) 16)

Seven Segment LED display interface to the microcontroller.

17) Home automation based on TV remote / Control peripherals of Uniboard by means of TV remote. 18)
19) 20)

Full feature Scientific Calculator using matrix key pad. Visitor counter using LASER diode / IR. POV (persistence of vision) based clock. Wireless Based Projects:

1) Bluetooth controlled(mobile phone) Robot(using Bluetooth-RS232 module) 2) Bluetooth Based Smart Home
3) AVR based GPS Locator(using uart)

4) Zigbee based remote temperature sensor.

Embedded Gaming
1) Egg game: Eggs keep on falling from above wee need to collect then in a basket. 2) Tic-tac-toe. 3) Gun firing based game. 4) Arkanoid 5) Tetris. 6) Brick game (Brick Shooting). 7) Snack Game. 8) Car racing. 9) Ping pong. Project Submission Procedure:

1) Student/s has to choose project subject from given list (in case student/s want to choose some other topic of their interest they need to take approval from the trainers). 2) There cannot be more than 3 students, in case if students are doing project in a group. 3) Student/s needs to submit their decided project title/topic within 3 days from last day of course completion. 4) Once student/s sends their topics/titles they will receive approval mail from the trainer for the same. 5) Students should send following details without failure: I) Send following in ZIP format: i) Source Code. ii) Header files implemented by students and not the standard one. iii) Send Video of Project demo. (Student can upload their project video/s on YouTube and send us the respective link) II) Personal information document: i) Name as they want on Certificate. ii) Postal address with Proper pin code. iii) Contact details iv) E-mail ID. v) Batch attended with start and end date. vi) Batch Trainer/s name. III) Project details document: Must contain step wise procedure and flow chart. 6) In case of doubts/ queries students can send mail to trainers id: 7) Student/s has to submit their project within 20 days from the last day of course completion. 8) In case if student/s needs some more time / extension period for project completion they need to send a request mail to stip@thinklabs.in and also to trainers (get id from respective trainer/s). For any other queries please mail to above address.
