The polaroid on the left is the only one that exists of the first day I painted with ACB

in Valparaiso, Chile. We were the only two Chileans at the time to rock this wall on a highway underpass. It was my first time meeting her through another friend from Brooklyn. At the time, I had been painting for 16 years. But it was the first time I would paint in Chile, where I was born, and with another female. It was a happy day. Name: Bomba, (Writing as RAW, 1986-1991) From: West Side Toronto, and Talca, Chile Crews: Independent I got into American NYC - style graffiti in 1986, heavily influenced by Galooch, Ren and my brother, who used to write Gonzo. Then we all met Kid-C who came into Toronto from out West. I never got into it to fit in. I got into it because I wanted to rock the walls of Toronto, because, as a newcomer youth to Toronto in the 80s, I knew I didnt fit in anyways. I began painting murals in 1981, taught by my father, doing murals of Che, Victor Jara, Violeta Parra and Salvador Allende. They were for cultural events in the Chilean community.
