Owens state-of-the-art facilities are
located in northern Wisconsin, in the heart of

quality Baltic birch plywood with a solid
hardwood wear layer to create a truly
remarkable engineered ooring product.
Owens coined the term Plankoor to describe
it. Plankoor has revolutionized the way
hardwood ooring is specied, installed, and
nished.
e slogan Solidly Engineered is often
used to describe our product. Unlike thin
laminates, the sawn, (not peeled) "
(4.5mm) wear layer can be sanded and
renished just like solid product. As a result,
the life expectancy, and installed appearance,
is indistinguishable from traditional "
ooring.
Plankoor is incredibly versatile and will
provide a variety of designer looks. It is
oered in widths as narrow as 2 " and as
wide as 8". Lengths are random, 1' to 8' or
custom 2' to 10'. It can be installed on any
level of the home, even directly over
concrete.

this brilliant line is coated with extremely
durable Aluminum Oxide UV nish. is
specially formulated coating boasts a 25 year,
residential, wear through warranty.

Wood Floor Care and Maintenance
Your new wood oor is an important investment, and must be properly cared for and maintained in order for you to
enjoy its full life and beauty. e following care and maintenance tips should be followed in order to obtain the full
benet of your wood oor and to ensure that our warranty will continue to apply:
Clean your wood oor with a vacuum, duster, or broom at least weekly. Dont use a vacuum that has beaters or hard
attachment tips. Remember that grit will greatly increase wear and can damage your wood oor.
Dont use a wet mop to clean your oor. Moisture from wet mopping will damage your wood oor.
Wipe up spills immediately.
Use an area rug in front of your sink and other appliances, and on high-trac areas. Dont use a mat with a solid
backing that will trap moisture between the mat and your oor.
Dont wear hard-soled or high-heel shoes on your wood oor. Hard soles and pointed heels can damage the oor. For
the same reason, keep your pets nails trimmed to avoid scratch marks.
Use curtains, blinds, or shades to protect your wood oor from direct sunlight.
To avoid damage to your wood oor, keep the relative humidity in your home between 35% and 55% to reduce the
risk of excessive expansion or contraction.
Use pads on the ends of furniture legs to avoid denting or scratching your wood oor.
If you have to move heavy objects, such as furniture or appliances, over your wood oor, use a hard barrier, such as a
board, on the oor and move the item across the barrier instead of sliding it directly on the oor. Dont slide the barrier
as you move the item. If you have furniture or appliances on casters, replace small or hard casters with casters made of
wide, soft rubber.
Never allow water or cleaners to pool or sit on top or soak into your wood oor. Moisture can damage the oor, and
