General Information: UH over 40,000 students on main campus. Other locations include Downtown, Clear Lake and Victoria.
IA department consists of Director, Manager, 3 seniors and 4 staff auditors with audit responsibilities for all four locations. We report directly to the Board of Regents. We are very action oriented group with a wide variety of backgrounds and a strong work ethic. We work mostly a 40-hour week. Salary will be in the low to mid-thirtys. There is very little overnight travel, (3 nights at TACUA state conference). Our work at the Victoria campus usually does not require an overnight stay. Good benefits package. 14-15 holidays a year + vacation (longevity time with other Texas state agencies is transferable).
