CONTENT STANDARDS: 1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation. 2.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to apply knowledge of sounds of letters to recognize words in linear and non-linear texts. 2.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and nonlinear materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: 1. Given a text for the pupils to read, a. Group A at least able to answer 10out of 11 questions on new farm animals and constructing simple words based on the noun correctly. b. Group B at least able to answer 11 out of 11 questions on new farm animals and constructing simple words based on the noun correctly.

2. Given a list of words, pupils are able to predict the meaning.
