Regional Lead Coach Mentor

London & South East Region Netball Association is looking for a committed, enthusiastic and flexible individual to work primarily with the Coaching Technical Support Group (TSG) to lead the mentoring programme and support a number of Lead Coach Mentors in the Region.

The post holder will assist in raising the quality of coaches and coaching . The Coaching TSG, Regional Management Board and Regional Unit will be available to support the post holder. Out of pocket travel expenses will be paid.

Aims & Objectives Provide leadership, support and guidance to a number of Lead Mentors throughout the Region. Lead the Regions mentoring programme Act in an advisory capacity to the Coaching Technical Support Group (TSG) Promote best practice for mentors

Role and Responsibilities Manage a team of Lead Mentors, who will be responsible for a wider team of mentors Build confidence in Lead Mentors Act in an advisory capacity to Lead Mentors Identify suitable mentors for prospective UKCC Level 3 coaches Facilitate the development of Lead Mentors Arrange and attend meetings with Lead Mentors Attend Coaching TSG meetings as and when required Provide regular updates to Coaching TSG Attend ad hoc meetings as required of the role Work with the Regional Management Board and Regional unit to support mentors

Skills Required Proven mentoring experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Proven organisational and people management ability Team leadership skills Ability to provide effective and constructive feedback Ability to facilitate reflection Ability to guide others in learning and achieve outcomes
