SEPTEMBER 11, 2012


Key: [Incident], [Location], [Military Time] Indecent Exposur, Palmer St / Del Paso Blvd, 1803 Officers responded to a report of a subject who had exposed himself. Upon arrival the subject was located and taken into custody without incident. Suspicious Subject, 300 block of Peralta Ave, 2226 Officers responded on reports of a female subject acting strangely. Upon arrival officers contacted the subject who became resistive. A search was eventually conducted and methamphetamine was located. The subject was arrested for resisting and narcotics related charges.

SEPTEMBER 12, 2012


Subject Stop, Arcade Blvd / Rio Linda Blvd, 2308 Officers conducted a bike stop and contacted Kevin Jones, 52. Jones was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Traffic Stop, Rio Linda Blvd / Acacia Ave, 2322 Police made a vehicle stop and found the driver to be in possession of a loaded handgun.

Suspicious Subject, 2600 block of Fairfield St., 0010 Officers responded on a call of a subject with a rifle. Though the report of a rifle was unfounded, SPD helicopter observer noticed a subject stash an object in a fender well of a car. The ground officers contacted and identified the subject and found the object he stashed was a loaded gun. Sean Rushton, 21, was arrested on weapons charges. Shooting , 1100 block of North Ave, 1929 A victim was confronted by two known suspects and a disturbance erupted. One of the suspects brandished a gun and shot at the victim, but the bullet hit another family member. The suspects fled the scene. The family member sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. While officers were on scene investigating, two other subjects were arrested for interfering in the investigation. One was arrested for assaulting a police officer. Investigation is in progress.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2012


Theft, 3600 block of Fulton Avenue, 1304 Sacramento Police received a call regarding a theft. The victim realized that someone had stolen property from her and called the police. Officers responded to investigate. Robbery, 4100 block of Norwood Ave, 1521 Police were called regarding a report of a robbery. The suspect, armed with a handgun, entered a business and demanded cash. Cash was taken and the suspect fled on foot. No injuries were reported. Welfare Check, 2200 Northgate Boulevard, 2100 Officers were called to check the welfare of a mother and her child. The 3-year-old child was found to be in good health. The juveniles father arrived and the mother was treated at a local hospital. Disturbance, 1400 block of Arden Way, 2155 Officers responded to a disturbance when a concert in the area ended. It took several police vehicles to peacefully disperse the crowd. No injuries were reported.

SEPTEMBER 15, 2012


Assault, 1500 block of Arcade Blvd, 0113 Police responded to a report of a stabbing. The victim was stabbed once and was later transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect believed he heard two male voices prior to the stabbing. Warrant service, 2800 block of Norcross Dr, 1624 Gabrial Gonzalez, 44, was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Missing Person, 2100 block of Roanoke Ave, 1649 Officers responded for a missing person report. The girlfriend of the reported missing was concerned for his welfare. Subject Stop, 2400 block of Del Paso Blvd, 1947 Officers contacted Antonio Patterson, 51, and later booked once finding out he was a parolee-at-large. Pursuit, Arcade Blvd / Roseville Rd, 2359 Andre Washington, 50, was arrested after leading police on a short pursuit. Washington was booked for the pursuit, DUI and driving on a suspended license.

SEPTEMBER 16, 2012


Suspicious Circumstance, 3300 block of May St, 0832, Officers responded to a report of shots fired. They contacted the caller that stated he just shot a large dog that was attacking another small dog. The large dog ran off and animal control responded and transported the small stray to a vet.

Arson, 200 block of Arcade Blvd, 2037, Officers responded on a report of a subject lighting a box on fire in front of a residence. The fire had been put out prior to police arrival, however, Sacramento Fire Department arrived on scene and saw a subject armed with a gun and threatening to shoot police if police approached. The suspect was ultimately arrested and booked for felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen property.

Pursuit, I 80 Eb / Winters St, 0041, Officers located a stolen vehicle that was reported to have been driven by an armed suspect. The suspect fled and a lengthy vehicle pursuit ensued. Even after all four tires were deflated, the suspect continued to drive eventually surrendering to officers. Domestic Violence, 300 block of Barrette Ave, 1754, Officers responded to a report of an assault. Upon arrival they located a 31-year-old female victim who had sustained a non-life threatening injury from being struck with a cane. The suspect was not initially on scene; however, later returned and was arrested. Sexual Assault Report, 3200 block of Northstead Drive, 2052, A juvenile reported being assaulted by another juvenile. A report was taken and this incident will continue to be investigated. Suspicious Vehicle, Strader Ave / Marysville Blvd, 2235, Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle. The area of the vehicle was searched and a gun was located. Two occupants were arrested for violating the terms of their parole.
