Hello welcome to beautiful land of South Carolina ! I am going to tell you about the Founders of South Carolina. There was 8 founders their names were Earl of Clarendon ,Duke of Albemarle ,William lord , Craven john , Baron Berkeley of Stratton , sir George Carteret , sir William Berkeley & Antony , Ashley cooper. These Lords found south Carolina . Reasons for being Founded ,The 8 Lords Were given land by King Charles II a way to say thank the 8 lords. The lords considered it a way to earn money .

Settlers would pay there own way over to the colony and produced what they need and traded for what they only needed and the lords earned money that way . People in the colony The First People to settle in the colony were white people that came from England . The white people found 30 tribes of native Americans . The Africans became more common for slavery . Then Native Americans would be forced into becoming slaves . Settlers would bring the servants with them when they come to the colony .
