Students pursuing a degree/major in the Natural Sciences (BIOL, CHEM, EAS, or PHYS) have the option of completing two courses of the sequence and substituting an approved computer science course. The foreign language requirement may also be satisfied by a minimum of one semester's study in a foreign country at a College/University where a language other than English is employed in courses taken. Appropriate academic credit will be accepted in transfer. (SLU Language Lab placement tests do not satisfy the foreign language requirement).
