Why does it improve pregnancy rate?

Research has shown that changes in temperature, pH and exposure to light may be damaging to embryo development, also manipulation of embryos increase risk of accidents and contamination. EmbryoScope allows for safe observation of embryos, all of the time without ever disturbing incubation conditions or stressing the embryos.

The EmbryoSlide is a unique dish with 12 well, made from special optical polymer which can be used for normal microscopy and laser, each well is marked with micro numerals for identification.

Pregnancy rate depends to a large extent on embryo quality. EmbryoScope achieves a much more stable incubation, allowing us to obtain higher quality embryos, by not having to take the embryos out of the incubator, there arent any changes in the temperature or moisture levels of the culture. Furthermore, we receive a lot more information from the embryo and we can detect morphological abnormalities in the embryo which we were not able to detect before. Cell division rates have proved to be a good marker for predicting the possibilities of implanting an embryo. CFI plan apochromat objective (NCG) specialized objectives for karyotyping application, this application takes the bright field microscopy to its maximum limitation as it requires the highest possible resolution at high magnification, and no use of cover glass. With these requierment in mind Nikon has designed the NCG 100x plan apo objective to deliver the best performance.
