Digital technology stands for ICTs, covering any product that can be used in a d igital form. In Our modern civilization the wave of change has been leaded by ne w information and communication technologies. These technologies are playing sig nificance in worldwide societies because they has taken the world to a new idea of a more responsible and autonomous behavior of people, in order to prosper or even success in life or unexpected situations. It has been a pillar for educatio nal purposes since many of the acquired skills are conceived within important as pects of formation literacy which relates to the ability to select, organize, an alyze and use information effectively. This ability to construct information is the concern of many societies since they raise some important aspect in the soci o-economic standards and competitively maintain a pose in the world economy and so globalization. As Florentino Blzquez states The inclusion of the T.I.C. in the cen tre projects must not only improve the teaching and learning processes, but also allow the autonomous learning and the promotion of attitudes that will make pos sible the access to socio cultural benefits and services of the own technologica l advances . It is said that the institution will need to pay carefully attention to adopt innovative methodologies that bring about technological advances and in w hich the students develop some self- directed learning skills. Some institutions are implementing ways to support self-directed learning programs in order to he lp students to persuade their own learning plans through innovative programs. A research about ICTs says that nowadays most families have made more frequent use of internet for educational and academic purposes because they find effective t he use of internet as medium for accessing any information and so complete some assignments, also because they can manipulate, apply, and acquire constantly the information without memorizing it, promoting a sense of autonomy when use it a tool for learning purposes. Another research by Gene V. Glass emphasizes the imp ortance of ICTs in education. ICTs can be useful tools for many educational iss ues and with the intention of creating new culture and societies that manipulate technologies to expand and implement highly educated people who can overcome an y emerging situation on a global view that is a product of their own desire for knowing new information. That is why this innovative tool is one important part for the development and achievement of this proposal. Students can be an active part in their own learning and also bring upon themselves the new technologies t hat can throw them in the creation of autonomous sense for their future learning .
