In Balatonfred die Tagore Promenade, von wo sich eine einzigartige Aussicht auf den See bietet, sowie das Stadtviertel der Reformzeit, das die Atmosphre des 19. fred sind krperreicher, feuriger, sie haben einen hheren Extraktgehalt. Die knigliche Urkunde, die den Bau der Abtei von tihany anordnete, die Grndungsurkunde aus dem Jahr 1055 enthlt die ltesten, in ungarischer Sprache geschriebenen Worte in lateinischem Textumfeld. Es lohnt sich auch, nach der Besichtigung der Unterkirche und der prchtigen Barockkirche in das Besucherzentrum der Benediktinerabtei, die porta pacis, was Tor des Friedens bedeutet, hereinzuschauen.

If you want to pedal around Lake Balaton 1 , allow at least 3 or 4 days to complete the tour. It is worth visiting www.balatontourism.hu to gather information about the variety of accommodation available and where should you stop during the long journey. If you start from BAlAtonAlmDi 0 , it is worth visiting the vri Observation Tower of vr. The reinforced Calvinist church built during the 11th and 12th century in the old downtown of Vrsberny upon Romanesque foundations and bearing marks of the Gothic style, has witnessed many conflicts. The oldest gothic mansion-house of Hungary, named by the local people Turkish House, can be found in AlsRs 6 . In csopAk 11 , we can find a lay-by besides the cycle track for cyclists and also the Bird Watching and Star Viewer. In the outskirts of the village, grey cattle pasture; it is good to have a rest and watch them. In BAlAtonFReD 16 , we shall ride along the famous Tagore Alley. We can find already here an acidulous spring but several others can be found along the roads leading out of the town. A bike-park has been built near the spring. We can find the oldest water mill built in the 11th century and yet still capable of operation in RVnyes 26 . We find our next station besides BAlAtonuDVARi 28 , a nice little village renowned for a romantic legend prompted by heart-shaped gravestones visible in the local grave-yard. Also the golf-course is well-known and frequented. In znkA 41 , you should not miss visiting the Military Engineering Park of the Child and Youth Centre. In addition, a small detour will lead you to the Spiked Needle which is a geological site, because there was once a volcano here. In RVFlp 48 it is worth diverging from the route to see the Millennium Observation Tower.

Now, we arrive in one of the most amazing areas of the Balaton region, i.e. the piedmont land of BADAcsony 62 . The inhabitants of Badacsonytomaj is the Szent Imre church, was erected using the local basalt stones. In BAlAtoneDeRics 74 , we can stride across to another continent, by visiting the Africa Museum. In gyenesDis 85 , we can look for new sources of exhilaration in the adventure park and can make shopping in the BAB bio and fish market. When we arrive at keszthely 89 , the Balaton Bicycle Route runs along the shore-line and passes by the boat station. The expanding BAlAtonmRiAFRD and BAlAtonkeResztR have completely become intertwined. There are almost ten smaller and larger free beaches along this calm and tranquil leg of the shoreline.

siFok 168 is the capital of Balaton in summer. The King of Operetta, Imre Klmn, was born in this town. The 45 meter high Water Tower built in 1912 in the middle of downtown was completely renovated in 2011 and also the tourist information office was moved to this place. BAlAtonkenese 190 takes pride in the tartar bread plants growing lavishly on the slopes of the Sos Hill and appearing in Europe in continuous clusters only in this environment. Es lohnt sich auch, auf den im Jahr 2011 restaurierten Aussichtsturm des Burgberges - ungarisch Vrhegy hinauf zu steigen! In BAlAtonBoglR 130 sollte man ab 2013 den auergewhnlichen Wasserspielplatz besuchen, der den Namen "Boglri Bubork" trgt. Restauriert wird auch der im Hafen der Stadt liegende, fast 140 Jahre alte Schraubendampfer, der heute als Museumsschiff fungiert. In BAlAtonszemes lustigen.

In RVnyes 26 steht die lteste, aus dem 11. Jahrhundert stammende Wassermhle Ungarns, die Mhle ist bis heute funktionstchtig. Unsere nchste Station ist BAlAtonuDVARi 28 , ein kleines Dorf am Nordufer, das neben der romantischen Legende, an welche die herzfrmigen Grabsteine auf dem Friedhof des Ortes erinnern, auch wegen seines Golfplatzes bekannt ist. In znkA 41 sollte man sich den Rstungstechnik-Park des Kinderund Jugendzentrums nicht entgehen lassen bzw. sollte man, wenn man ein wenig von dem Radweg abweicht, die Felsformation des Hegyest besichtigen. In RVFlp 48 lohnt es sich, einen Abstecher zum Millennium-Aussichtsturm zu machen. Auf unserer Tour kommen wir in eine der schnsten Gegenden am Balaton am Fue des Ortes BADAcsony 62 . Eine Besonderheit von Badacsonytomaj ist die St. Imre Kirche. Nicht nur die Kirchenwnde, sondern auch ihr Gewlbe sind aus Basalt gebaut. In BAlAtoneDeRics 74 sollte man das Afrika-Museum besuchen und damit einen anderen Kontinent betreten.
