Mission To appoint a missionary to every county of Pennsylvania and beyond to inspire and educate youth to save the gift

of sex until marriage. Impact MOP's abstinence education program (WAIT Training) brings the message of sexual purity to those who otherwise may never have heard of abstinence. By bringing the message of sexual purity to youth across Pennsylvania, MOP is drastically reducing promiscuity, pornography, the spread of STDs, teen pregnancies, and abortion. On a shoe-string budget of $4,260 per missionary, MOP has reached more than 1,500 youth across Pennsylvania and personally mentored over 100 young adults through counseling and new media communication on abstinence. Our missionaries have spoken in roughly 36 local schools with an anticipated 26 more by the end of 2012, and equipped over 100 parents and pastors with purity education resources. Without MOP, the youth would never be fully educated about the physical, emotional and spiritual destruction that occurs with sexual promiscuity and would never know sexual purity as the healthiest way to make decisions about sex, love and relationships. Vision We believe that with God all things are possible. We imagine a world where all unmarried people embrace abstinence and where married couples live out their marital covenants in fidelity, a world where sexual purity is respected and revered. In 2012, we intend to partner with 12 pregnancy resource centers and churches and are striving to appoint a total of 67 missionaries by the end of 2013. After focusing on Pennsylvania, our goal is to expand our ministry across the entire United States. By replicating this growth model to new states, we intend to establish a national presence and impact youth across the nation. Imagine the possibility if you joined us in support of our organization.

Methods & Collaboration

Our missionaries are chosen from a select group of top college graduates and are trained and certified by The Center for Relationship Education WAIT Training, a top-of-the-line curriculum, statistically proven to have a positive impact on teens. We partner with pregnancy resource centers and churches to empower them to hire our missionaries. These partnering organizations rarely have the financial resources to hire a missionary. Therefore, our organization recruits, screens, and trains missionaries, recommending them for employment with the church or pregnancy center. MOP also donates up to $4,260 towards the new missionary's salary. We then educate our partners on fundraising techniques to bolster their income. We integrate partnering entities into a developed, information-sharing network that empowers 11 pregnancy resource centers and churches to share information, fundraising techniques, program services, and various operational ideas with each other, resulting in increased collaboration and effective service among these lifesaving entities. MOP also provides ongoing guidance and support to missionaries for the duration of their service, to help them grow in their effectiveness to present purity to youth. In summary, by offering certified personnel, financial assistance, and ongoing guidance and collaboration, we create strong and sustainable partnerships that have and will continue to have a marked impact on the lives of thousands of teens throughout Pennsylvania and beyond.
