Triumphs of an Angel

For Haylee Mazzella Poeta Ricardo Sal LaRosa

In Memoria Haylee Mazzella July 13, 2001 June 3, 2006

The death of a baby is like a stone cast into the stillness of a quiet pool; the concentric ripples of despair sweep out in all directions, affecting many, many people. --De Frain, 1991 Death is not extinguishing the light; it is putting out the lamp because dawn has come. --Rabindranath Tagore Each departed friend is a magnet that attracts us to the next world. --Jean Paul Richter

Haylee had a great passion and love for all animals

A Poem for Haylee Mazzella Triumphs of an Angel

O Haylee they dont understand ! And perhaps they will never comprehend That this cruel unjust world is not meant For one as pure, as compassionate, as loving a sentient being As you ! O Haylee speaking the secrets of this Universe to me ! Although I never met you in this manifestation Your Spirit declares wisdom to mine Straight into my very being For associations of earlier lives shared ! O Haylee how your Spirits love pours out ! Across this galaxy; across the Universe Your infinite love has created a sanctuary On several moons of Saturn and Jupiter For lost spirits of earths animals !

O Haylee how grand is your love ! For Sophias creatures great and small Having been blessed by the Deities themselves Never having to reincarnate again Crowned a Princess of the worlds your sweet heart has created ! O Haylee how deeply you are entwined to my soul ! But I do understand why you left us one sad day A month and ten days short of your fifth birthday And I shall tell the whole world in these verses This earth was not meant for one majestically filled with LOVE as you ! ! !

Prayer for Those Who Suffer

For those who suffer, and those who cry this night, give them repose, Lord; a pause in their burdens. Let there be minutes

where they experience peace, not of man but of angels. Love them, Lord, when others cannot. Hold them, Lord, when we fail with human arms. Hear their prayers and give them the ability to hear You back in whatever language they best understand. Margaret A. Davidson 1996 by Margaret A. Davidson, All Rights Reserved
