IBN Annual General Meeting, 9th October 2012, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel A Chairde: Notice of 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Irish Business Council 9th October 2012 I am pleased to advise you of the forthcoming AGM of the Irish Business Council (IBC - our formal title), to be held on Tuesday 9thOctober at 7.30pm at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel. This is a highly important event for all members of the IBC, existing and prospective, and we hope to see the meeting will be well attended. We will be honoured by the attendance of H.E. Ciarn Madden, Irish Ambassador to the U.A.E. Admission for members attending the AGM will be free. Registration & Welcome Welcome drinks and canaps will be served commencing 7.30pm these will be served at no charge to IBN members. Agenda In accordance with the IBC Constitution, the agenda for the AGM will be as follows: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Presentation of the IBC'S annual report of activities and events related to the previous year. Discussion, outline and approval of IBC'S planned activities for the coming year. Election of the members of the administrative board when applicable. Approval of accounts from previous year. Approval of annual budget for coming year. Kindly note that only registered and paid-up members of the IBC are entitled to vote on matters arising at the AGM. Appointment of IBC Committee All 7 officer posts of the IBC are open for nominations in accordance with the IBC Constitution: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and 3 committee members. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for a position, please send your nominees to: irishbusinessnetworkdubai@gmail.com Clearly state the name of the person, the position nominated, and a short supporting statement (50 words maximum). Please note that as the IBN is registered under the auspices of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, and under the rules of the DCC, the nominee for the above posts must either be registered with the DCC or work for a company that is registered with the DCC.

Kindly note that the closing date for Committee nominations is Tuesday 2ndOctober 2012.
