Present Perfect Tense Exercise 1 TV15 - The Rakyat Channel gives out awards for the best local TV programme each year. Subject-Verb Agreement We use is with a singular subject and are with a plural subject. Sentences with subjects like each, everyone, one, nobody, everything , neither of, etc, take a singular verb. Sentences with subjects like all, both, many, some, etc take a plural verb. A single subject is followed by a singular verb. Verb Forms Verbs are action words which says what a noun or pronoun does (run, write, fall, study, etc). Every sentence must have at least a verb.
