Name of Work:- C/o 50 Bedded Hospital for ITBP Behlana, Chandigarh. SH: SITC of Sub-Station Equipments & DG Sets. Head of Account:- 4055-(NP)(OB) This revised estimate framed by Superintending Engineer (E)(P&A), O/o Chief Engineer(E)NZ, CPWD, New Delhi for probable cost of Rs.1,27,44,350/- including contingencies. REPORT History: This revised estimate has been framed for obtaining revised Administrative Approval & Expenditure Sanction of the competent authority. The A/A & E/S for the work for Rs.1,31,11,000/- and Rs.4,79,77,300/- was received vide No.11-11012/30/96/Nirman/VI-II/226065 dated 24.6.2003 and No.11-11012/2/2000/Const./PF-III/163-79 dated 31.10.2001, which include the provision of Sub-Station and DG Sets. The new campus is presently being fed through LT distribution from the Sub-Station of the old campus. This new Sub-Station will cater to the needs of the new campus i.e. 50 Bedded Hospital, Administrative Block, Officer's Mess, Barracks and Residential Campus. The increase in cost is due to the following reasons:a) b) c) d) Segregation of the residential load and non-residential load due to different rates of tariff to be charged by UT Electricity Department and accordingly providing and laying of cables, providing feeder pillars for distribution of supply in the campus. Provision of Dry Type Transformers. Providing Capacitor Banks for improvement of power factor. Increase in cost over the rates of preliminary estimate due to calculation of steel prices.

Design & Scope: Two numbers 750 KVA Dry Type Transformer with 11 KV Panels will be installed in the Sub-Station. Out of the two Transformers, one will be exclusively used for

residential as UT Electricity Department will be giving rebate to the bulk purchaser for consumption for residential load. 11 KV HV Panels shall be fed through UT Feeder. These panels will have standard metering and protection equipments. The cubical LT Panel will be fed through bus trunking of 1400 Amp rating from Transformer with main incomer as ACB's of 1250 Amp rating and having bus coupling arrangement suitable numbers of MCCBs shall be provided for outgoing feeders. An essential supply panel shall be provided in the Sub-Station to feed the essential load of Hospital (200 KVA and 100 KVA) DG Sets shall be installed in the Sub-Station building. These DG Sets will feed essential load of Hospital and other service in the campus. LT Distribution and Street Light work will be carried out under this estimate.
