1. Locate cable on opposite side of pole to oncoming traffic where possible. 2. Do Not Obstruct climbing access. 3. All metalwork that passes through or into wood shall be greased for the entire length that may come into contact with the wood. 4. Minimum dimension to ground from termination bracket king bolt allows sufficient ground clearance for an LV underground termination on pole. 5. Dimension from termination bracket king bolt to LV conductor below suits triplex cable termination. 3C cable termination requires greater dimension. 6. Polymeric cable guard is not to be use in areas: subject to grass fire where metal bladed brush cutter may be used where there is a high likelihood of impact. 7. Refer Earthing Section of the Overhead Construction Manual for minimum separation requirements between metal cable guard and communication assets.

1. Locate cable on opposite side of pole to oncoming traffic where possible. 2. Do Not Obstruct climbing access. 3. All metalwork that passes through or into wood shall be greased for the entire length that may come into contact with the wood. 4. Minimum dimension to ground from termination bracket king bolt allows sufficient ground clearance for an LV underground termination on pole. 5. Dimension from termination bracket king bolt to LV conductor below suits 1 core cable termination. For 3 core termination a greater separation is required. 6. Polymeric cable guard is not to be use in areas: subject to grass fire where metal bladed brush cutter may be used where there is a high likelihood of impact. 7. Refer Earthing Section of the Overhead Construction Manual for minimum separation requirements between metal cable guard and communication assets.
