Semi finished products

18

Semi finished products such as slab is rolled to shape steel products. In rolling process, material properties are also controlled.

Direct hot charged rolling

19

1200

Slabs are transfer to hot strip mill by D-HCR for energy saving. Then the slabs uniformly heated about 1200.

Hot strip mill

20

Rolling mill

Slabs are rolled by roughing mill and 7 stage finishing mill. Thickness is reduced from 250mm to minimum 1.2mm.
