At GCSE I developed a great understanding in the ICT by gaining a distinction. I later moved on to sixth form which I developed a further understanding of ICT as I took a two year A-level course which I am currently studying. I believe computers are ever developing and a large part of our future

I am also open to new ideas. In year 11 I received letters home, praising my achievement and implying how proud the ICT teacher was from the effort I contributed in the subject which boosted my confidence and motivation towards the subject, in one of the units we undertook we were given a hypothesis to test and we had to come up with the solution, in this unit we learned how useful ICT is for creating systems that collect, collate and analyse data in order to make decisions or solve problems, I found this unit challenging but really useful especially in developing my analytical skills.

In BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport, I have learnt knowledge of principles, teaching methods, and techniques that will provide positive thinking and motivation, I also have excelled rapidly in learning about the cardiovascular system, the human anatomy and a variety of training programmes and injury prevention. I also keep fit and use the gym myself which provides me with knowledge on how to keep fit and ways to define your muscles or ways to bulk up. Work Experience
I have always been fascinated with computers which was first guided by one of my parents who owned a business which involved printing dyes, hand engraving and graphics designing, In year 10 my inspiration for computer design began as I undertook a weeks work experience here by watching the design of graphics on the computer where I began realising how much people rely on computers in everyday life and the amount of different aspects you can do with them, Whilst working here I performed many administration tasks such as organising my managers files, answering phone calls to customers and observing the managers use of the computer and designing graphics. By doing this I broadened my range of organisational qualities and expanded my knowledge of computer design.

Skills
I am a committed individual who can work independently or as a team member as I enjoy meeting new people. I have two jobs which I believe indicates that I have experience in dealing with various situations. I have good leadership skills and excellent problem solving skills as I have demonstrated in the work I did as community sports leaders award. I completed the award in various primary schools in the Halesowen area, working with children age 8-11. Whilst doing this I gained skills which I can now apply to everyday life such as building up on my commitment and communication. Throughout high school and sixth form my attendance is impeccable and I believe I have only had one or two days off in the whole 2 years of me attending Windsor sixth form. I believe that being punctual and organised shows reliability and a good attitude and is something I want to take through to adult life.

Interests
I have many hobbies which include working with computers and socialising over the internet. I also participate in gaming with family and friends through which helps me to gain better skills in problem solving as well as communication. Another hobby included is performing sports as I taken a BTEC course, sports is something I have always been good at and I believe it helps you eliminate stress in everyday life.
