Turkey and Morocco have signed an FTA agreement since 2006.

And because Morocco is a strategic hub for Europe, importing from turkey is a great choice. So, I will be importing finished clothes since turkey is a very big textile manufacturer. To begin with, I will make a list of Turkish manufacturers, exporters or suppliers who can provide me with the product. once I have a list of exporters , I will begin narrowing down my list till I find the supplier that is right for me through phone or email inquiries . Information regarding these exporters will include :client references, business licensing information, manufacturing information, the name and the location of the factory producing the product, information regarding the experience of the factory in producing clothes .finally, I will need a sample of their products if possible to have a better idea of the quality . When reaching finally the right supplier, I will need to negotiate a deal before I can place any orders. After reaching an agreement the orders will be placed along with shipping agreement. When the merchandise arrive to the port of entry in morocco, a commercial cargo company needs to be contacted to arrange to have my shipment picked up. Typically the clearing process is done by DCQ (Direction de Contrle de la Qualit) DCQ inspectors issue a certificate that authorizes the importer to clear customs. Customs officers will not authorize the goods into the country without a certificate issued at the point of entry by the DCQ inspectors. In addition, the certificates that are typically required by customs office are: Bill of lading Original invoice Packing List Once the merchandise is cleared , I will try to get a list of clothes wholesalers and retailers through online outsourcing websites and local agencies and provide price offers.

WTO dispute:
On 30 March 2006, the European Communities and the United States, and on 13 April 2006, Canada, requested consultations with China regarding China's imposition of measures that adversely affect exports of automobile parts from the European Communities, the United States and Canada to China. The European Communities argues that, under the measures identified, imported automobile parts that are used in the manufacture of vehicles for sale in China are subject to charges equal to the tariffs for complete vehicles, if they are imported in excess of certain threshold. In the United States' opinion, although China bound its tariffs for auto parts at rates significantly lower than its tariff bindings for complete vehicles, China would be assessing a charge on imported auto parts equal to the tariff on complete vehicles, if the imported parts are incorporated in a vehicle that contains imported parts in excess of thresholds .DSB found that china measure were inconsistent ynder GATT 19940. Therefore, DSB requested China to bring these inconsistent measures into conformity with its obligations under the GATT 1994 and the WTO Agreement.
