Q. When must my voted mail-in ballot be returned? A. Mail-in ballots must be RECEIVED at the Adams County Elections Office or Designated Drop-off/Service Center sites by 7pm on Election Day in order for your vote(s) to be counted. Ballots received after 7pm on Election Day will not be counted. Q. Where can I drop-off my mail-in ballot? A. There are fourteen Drop-off sites, listed below, conveniently located around the county. Q. How can I tell if I am registered to vote or if my voted mail-in ballot has been received? A. To verify your mail-in ballot was received by the Elections Office, visit the website at www.govotecolorado.com, clicking on the Find My Registration link. Q. What shall I do if I want to vote at a polling place, but I received a mail-in ballot? A. You may surrender your mail-in ballot at an Early Voting site and vote on a touch screen voting machine. This function cannot be done on Election Day. Q. What do I do if I make a mistake, damage or lose my ballot? A. You may request a Replacement Ballot by visiting one of the conveniently located Service Centers listed below. Q. Who are the eligible Write-in Candidates? A. Visit www.adamscountyelections.org for the list. Q. Ive heard that mail-in ballots are only counted if there are close races. Is that true? A. No. All ballots, both polling place and mail-in, are counted in the same manner. All valid mail-in ballots are counted in every election in Colorado, regardless of the outcome or closeness of any race. Q. Are ADA accessible voting machines available? A.
