~Broken Heart~

This tutorial is for those who have working knowledge with Paint Shop Pro & Jasc
Animation Shop.

This tutorial used my PTU scrap kit called “Valentine Bliss”.

*Font: I used two fonts. One can not be provided, it is a paid for font: A&S Happy Jack
Only one can be shared: Adine-kirnberg (this is the cursive font).

Let’s get started 

Open a 550x550 transparent canvas. Flood fill white

Open up your supplies provided and save your mask into your mask folder in Corel Paint
Shop. This usually is located somewhere like this: C/Program files/Corel/Corel Paint
Shop/masks.

Now open up your scrap kit “Valentine Bliss”, and have ready to choose your elements
and/or papers.

Copy and paste your paper of choice as a new layer. I used Paper Red 1 Falling 4 You -
GI_VB from my “Valentine Bliss” kit.

Go to your top tool bar, Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk and load the
mask provided ~Goldy~mask20~1-11 with these settings:

Look to your right tool bar, you will see the layers of 3 that make up your mask. Right on
your mask layer, and merge group.

Copy and paste your tube of choice. I used an Elias tube, which requires a license to use.

Add a drop shadow and duplicate this layer, and drag one below your frame. Click on the
top tube layer to make active. Using your “free hand selection tool”, circle around the
parts you want hidden behind your frame. Hit delete on your toolbar.
Go to the top tool bar, Selections and Select None.

Copy and Paste your frame of choice, I used: Frame Red 1 - GI_VB
Add a drop shadow.

Open your elements of choice from the kit.

I used Heart Gem Red 1 - GI_VB and Heart Metal Red 2 GI_VB paste as a new layer,
position to your liking. Add a drop shadow to both of them.

Using your pen tool, line width 2, and line style: dash dot, foreground color black, draw a
jagged line like a broken heart would have through your “Heart Metal” heart. Convert to
raster and merge down onto your heart. See mine to reference.

Copy and paste your tag as a new layer. I used Tag Red 2 - GI_VB. Resize by 85%.
Position to your top left of your frame. Add a drop shadow.

Using font: AdineKirnberg, foreground null (transparent) and background color code
setting: #eac5c5 with font size 18, type out something cute and using your pick tool
(arrow), position so it matches up on your tag. Now type out your name using a bulkier
font, I used A&S Happy Jack, with foreground setting color: #eac5c5 and background
color setting on gradient multi-red, size 16. Add a drop shadow.

Now type out something charming at the bottom, I typed out “Broken Heart” using the
same bulky font A&S Happy Jack- size 26: with foreground setting color: #eac5c5 and
background color setting on gradient multi-red.
Any large bulkier font will work. Add a drop shadow.
*My drop shadow settings I used is: 3, 3, 50 and 5. Black as the color.

Now add your copyright and watermark. Save as a JPG or PNG and you are done!

Please go to your next step if you would like to add the animation.

~ANIMATION~
This is pretty easy. I provided the animation for you in the supplies. Open the cuffs in
Jasc Animation. Go to your top tool bar and Edit, Select All. Make sure that your little
slider is all the way to your left on “1” at the bottom of the animation, but keep all of
them selected! Now copy and paste from Paint Shop your finished tag as a new
animation. Duplicate this so you have a total of 4. Select All and make sure you have
yoru slider all the way to the left on your 1st layer. Now go to your other animation of

your cuffs, and using your mouse click on it, do not let go and just drag to you where you
want it on your main tag
(Do not let go of this animation until your sure it’s where you want it), if you do not like
it, you can hit undo on the top tool bar on it, and try again. Now save your animation!
