Seymourpowell at The London Design Festival 2011

Ideas Generator, The Concept Lounge featuring Seymourpowell 20th 23rd September 2011 London, UK, 17 August 2011 leading global design and innovation company Seymourpowell is pleased to announce details of its activity planned for this years forthcoming London Design Festival. In collaboration with curatorial collective The Concept Lounge, Seymourpowell will run a programme entitled Ideas Generator, an interactive workshop, including discussion and practical sessions, from 4 8 pm on 20, 21 and 22 September. The workshops will take place at the Gallery in Redchurch Street (E2 7DP). During each workshop, members of the Seymourpowell team and talented new designers will imagine a future where reality has changed. Seymourpowell will use their distinctive research and design process to explore the implications and possibility of a future where energy consumption is strictly rationed. Included in each session will be an introduction to the Seymourpowell design process and practical sessions on trends, ethnography, ideas generation and concept development. On Friday 23 September, visitors to The Concept Lounge will be able to view some of the best work from the three workshops. Tickets for the workshops will be available from 1 September. Places are strictly limited for each workshop. To apply for free tickets please email events@theconceptlounge.com. Those successful in securing tickets will be notified via email. The Concept Lounge will also feature an exhibition of prints as part of the Ideas Generator Series One collection. These will be available to purchase at various pop-up stalls in the space. In addition The Concept Lounge offers an opportunity for partnership sessions from the 20th - 23rd at 12pm - 3pm daily to discuss future collaborations.
