Please review with your child(ren). 9:30 AM The Only Comfort Concluded The Acts of Synod 2012 of the Free Reformed Churches of North America are available for purchase on the book display in the narthex. Everyone is invited to attend the ordination/installation service of Candidate Rob VanDoodewaard as pastor of the Free Reformed Church plant in Powassan. The service will take place Friday, November 16, at 7:30 PM DV in the Free Reformed Church in St. George, with Dr. Jerry Bilkes conducting the service.

Dorcas Guild News: The wrapped empty boxes for Operation Christmas Child are in the narthex and in the basement. They are ready to be filled by the congregation. Please return the filled boxes to church by November 4. Thank You! Today - (Sunday) 4:15 PM Youth group meeting. Snack: Herman October 23 - (Tuesday) 9:45 AM Ladies Bible Study. Coffee is at 9.45 AM and the lesson starts at 10. Ladies of all ages are welcome and nursery is provided. October 24 - (Wednesday) 7 PM - Boys and Girls Club. Gym night for boys grades 3 8. There will be a regular meeting for all the others. We will begin our fellowship meeting with congregational singing, hear special music from our young peoples group, and Dr. Michael Barrett, Academic Dean (PRTS) will bring us a message of reformation from Gods Word. After the meeting we will have fellowship and gifts for our children downstairs. Please make plans with your family to join us. November 3 - (Saturday) 7 AM Mens Breakfast Bible Study at the Rainbow Grill in Hudsonville.

Visitors, welcome. We hope you are blessed through worshiping with us this Lords Day. Today, Pastor Lawrence W. Bilkes will conduct our worship services. Next Sunday, Dr. David Murray will preach for us, D.V.

Today we finish our latest round through the Heidelberg Catechism. We will start up once again in January, Lord willing. The elders have asked those serving us the next five weeks to preach successively through the Five Points of Calvinism (TULIP), as follows: October 28 - Total Depravity - Dr. David Murray November 4 - Unconditional Election - Mr. Ian Macleod November 11 - Limited Atonement - Dr. Jerry Bilkes November 18 - Irresistible Grace - Dr. David Murray

A sincere thank you to my church family for the love and support shown by way of the many encouraging cards, calls and prayers during the illness and passing away of my husband Dave. I especially want to thank Dr. L. W. Bilkes for his many visits and words of comfort. Isaiah 41:10 Kay Huisjen Dear brothers and sisters: We wish to thank you all for the care and love you have shown to us during these past difficult months. The visits by the pastors, the calls, the meals have been a token to us of God's abiding love and care for His people, shown through you. Thank you, Rev. Ray and Linda Lanning We thank God for the healing and strength Howard has received so far. We appreciate the prayers offered and cards received during this time of recovery. He will have a CAT scan at the end of November and that will determine what will be done next. Psalm 46:1 Howard and Jessica VandenToorn I would like to express thanks to the congregation for the many prayers, cards, and some of the phone calls I have received around the time of my recent surgery. I would particularly like to thank Pastor Bilkes for his visits and support, as well as Mr. Bob Nordyke for his gracious assistance. We have much reason to give thanks to the Lord for the great mercy he has shown. Rick VanderVeen Pastor Lawrence J. & Ellen Bilkes of our Dundas FRC, were blessed with the birth of healthy twin girls, Kezzia and Carissa, this past Wednesday. Michigan Voter guides for the November 6th General Election are available for pickup in the narthex. Please contact Heidi Pronk at hpronk@charter.net with any election questions. There will be a Sumba Mission presentation, given by Bill and Marion Sommers, at Plymouth Christian High School, on Friday, November 9 at 7:30 PM. Trinitarian Bible Society will hold its Annual Public Meeting at Plymouth Christian High School on Tuesday, November 13, at 7:30 PM. Rev. Jerrold Lewis will present the topic entitled Search the Scriptures". The Mattaniah Male Choir will be at First United Methodist Church, October 26 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available through Plymouth Christian High School.
