Collage Making (on Pastel Sheet) Class : II No. of Participant :2 Time : 1 hour Topic : I love E-learning Room Details: Students have to bring cut-outs, photographs, written materials, sketch pens, color pencils, crayons, decorative material, etc. to be used by them for making collage. Pasting has to be done on spot. Pastel sheet of size (36x18") will be provided. Students must give suitable title to the collage. 3. Ad-Bytes(MSWORD) Class : IV - VI No. of Participants :2 Time : 1 hour Topic : To be given on the spot. Software : Ms Word Details: Students will be asked to design an advertisement in MS WORD. A set of related clipart/ images will be provided to the students. Students must not carry any storage device like pen drive, CD etc. otherwise they will be disqualified. 4. Movie Mania (Windows Movie Maker) (Submission) NOTE THE CHANGE Class : VI IN RED No. of Participants :2 Topic : Any event organized in your School Details: Participants will prepare a Movie based on any event organized in their school using appropriate effects in Windows Movie Maker. The labeled CD with School Name and Students name is to be submitted at the school reception (Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar, Phase I, A- Block, Delhi ) by 2nd Nov., 2012 instead of 26th Oct., 2012 due to Dussehra Holidays Please submit the movie file along with a small write up describing about the event. The video must contain original material and entries must not contain any copyrighted video, audio etc. The names of the winners will be posted on the blog: http://www.tech4us.blogspot.com on 5th Nov., 2012 and the participating school or to the concerned teacher will be informed as well. Winners will join the prize distribution ceremony to be held in the host school on 6th Nov. 2012. The host school is not responsible for non-working CD. The decision of the judges would be final. All the movies will be retained by the host school and host school will be free to use the same. 6. The Story Begins..(Alice - Open Source Software) (Submission) Class : VII- IX No. of Participants :2 NOTE THE CHANGE Timing : 1 hr. IN RED Topic : Love all life on Earth Software : Alice 3.1.35 Details Participants are required to make a 3-D animation using the open source software Alice 3.1.35. The labeled CD with School Name and Students name is to be submitted at the school reception (Kulachi Hansraj Model School , Ashok Vihar, Phase III, Delhi ) by 2nd Nov., 2012 instead of 26th Oct., 2012 due to Dussehra Holidays The names of the winners will be posted on the blog: http://www.tech4us.blogspot.com th on 5 Nov., 2012 and the participating school or to the concerned teacher will be informed as well. Entirely technology based quiz. 8. PROGRAMMING IN JAVA(Java & MySQL) Class : XI-XII No. Of Participants :2 Timing : 1 hr. Software : JAVA (NetBeans 6.5), RDBMS MySQL Server 5.1 Details: Problem statement will be given on the spot. Rules for the event to be given on the spot 9. Matte Painting(Abode Photoshop) No. Of Participants : 2 Class : Open for all Timing : 1 hr. Topic : To be given on the spot Software : Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Details: Team has to prepare the Matte Painting in given time limit. CDs, Pen Drives etc. are not allowed. Topic & Rules to be given on the spot. Relevant photographs, graphic data (text if required) will be provided to the teams. 10. GAMING Class : Open to all No. Of Participants : 1 No. Of Levels : Host schools discretion Details: Genre may be random. Further details to be disclosed on the spot 11. ROBO Story Class : Open to all No. Of Participants : Two Timing : 1 hr. Details: The event is a robotic display. Any kind of bots are allowed. (Provided bots dont get proved to be remote controlled toys) Team has to give a display that may be an act/story which reflects the programming possibilities with the bot. Teams are allowed to get the laptops in case they need it.
