On November 6, 2012, the citizens of the United States will vote to decide who will become the 45th President of the United States of America .This next president could help to establish the role of the United States in the ever-changing world as we delve deeper into the 21st Century. This election could prove to be one of the most important of our time because of the issues that currently face the US nation including the Wars in the MiddleEast, the world energy crisis, globalization issues, and a staggering economy. What influence would this one man have over these issues in our world today? Could one man's ideas alter (=change) the course of the US on these issues? And if so, which man is best for the job? If you had to choose one candidate, who would it be and why? YOUR TASK You have a rare place in history, for you have been asked by BOTH the Democrats and Republicans to be the key note speaker at the National Conventions for each party! You can't possibly do both, but you want to speak at one convention or the other. Which man will you support, President Elect Obama or Senator Mitt Romney?
