China is 9,596,960m and is the third largest country in the world. The largest language spoken in China is mainly Mandarin and the size of Chinas population is 1.3 Billion but it doesnt have the largest population, India does. Chinas population growth is 0.481% and Australias is 1.126% and the death rate in China is 7.17 deaths/1,000 population and Australia is 6.94/1,000. In the cities the proportion of Chinese people that live there are 54 million people. The largest City in China is Shanghai and in China there are more boys then girls born. Chinese people can be expected to live to 73 years. The percentage of people that can read and write is over 15%. china runs under a Communist State government and its capitol is Beijing. The currency used in China is Yuan. In China most people work in the Labour sector and the percentage of chinese population that live below poverty is 13.4%. Australia has 16.982 million people that have internet when only China has 398 million people who have internet.

In China there are four varying landscapes. They are Mountains, High Plateaus, Sandy Desserts and Forests. The proportion of Chinas land mass that is made up of mountains is 1/3. The two most important rivers in China is the Yellow and the Yangtze.

The main things that are threatening the animal and plant species in China are logging and land clearing.

One of the most endangered animals in China is the Giant Panda. It is one of Chinas iconic animals yet it is endangered.

Chinas Comparison with Australia Australias terrain is mostly low plateaus with desserts when in China the terrain is mostly mountains, high plateaus and desserts in the west. The population density in China is 133.69 per sqkm and in Australia it is 2.47 people per sqkm.

The beautiful ocean that borders to the eats of China is the Pacic Ocean and the sea that is on Chinas South East border is South China Sea.

The Yangtze River ows by Shanghai and the major river that crosses the Great Wall is the Yellow River. Chinas capital Beijing is located in the North East part of China. The two countries that border Chinas North East is Russia and Mongolia. The total number of countries that border China is 14.
