WELCOME

SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
Parents who desire to have their children baptized are asked to contact the church office.

CONFIRMATION
This week, our young people who are preparing to celebrate Confirmation will be reflecting on the meaning and promise of their Baptism and the other Sacraments of Initiation. Join them by reflecting on the effect belonging to the Catholic Church has had on your daily life.

FIRST COMMUNION
If your child is in 2nd grade or above, please call the church office or sign up on line at www.nativitydarien.us. This is the last call.

CONFIRMATION PREP CLASSES


If you are in the 7th, 8th, or 9th -12th grade and want to be confirmed, register now! Preparation classes are on Wednesday, at 4:30-5:45 p.m. Register at the parish office or on line at

Confirmation is scheduled for March 13, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church.

THEOLOGY ON TAP FOR TEENS


Our new program for young parishioners! Age group 14-20. If you are already confirmed, you are invited to a program where we get at the meaning of life. More information is coming soon, but ask Fr. HEALTH & HAPPINESS: This committee helps our parishioners with Births, Baptisms, Weddings, Sickness and Bereavement. GARDENING ANGELS: The Gardening Angels meet quarterly to plant and restore our gardens. CHOIR: The choir meets Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. in the
church.

NOTICE OF DEATH
Our brother in Christ +Charles Elhardt (Darien) has passed on to the Father. The funeral Mass was celebrated at Nativity of Our Lady Church in Darien on Saturday, October 27 at 10:00. The Rev. Wilfrid Logdson OFM Conv. officiated. Charles and his wife Peg moved to Darien from New York after many years in law enforcement. May Charles and all our departed brothers and sisters rest in peace

Bazaar November 10
CCW and Knights of Columbus are holding a bazaar and BBQ on Nov 10th at St. Francis Xavier. Tickets for the BBQ will be on sale today after Mass or you may get them from the church office.

ADVENT FAIR DECEMBER 1, 2012


Remember Nativitys Advent Fair, Saturday, December 1 from 10:00 to 4:00. A yard sale, the Nifty Knitters booth, Advent wreathes, art projects for children and for the whole family, Advent cuisine and Advent music, plus a special prayer service for the season. Youll want to be there!
