AIR HANDLING UNITS

The air handling units must conform to present European norm NF EN 1886, with performances certified by the European organisation EUROVENT General description They will consist of packaged assemblies which include filters, coils, humidification devices, fan, etc... Each internal element will be slide-mounted to facilitate access to components and therefore their maintenance . To avoid gaskets stripping, access to the elements to be maintained will take place through large offset axis hinged doors with progressive tightening locks. Only the prefilters can be fitted with a flush-mounted panel with same type of locks. To guarantee a satisfactory sealing class, the opening panels must be fitted with crushable elastomere rotproof double contact gasket. The air handling units will conform to the sealing tests as per CEN-TC 156 WG5. So as to avoid oxidizing between steelwork and assembly support, the air handling units will have a perimetal chassis which guarantees an efficient ventilation between the lower panels of boxes and the support chassis. This chassis will serve also as a grip for handling by hooks and straps fitted in the angles The panels crossings (grommets, pressure pick-ups, piping...), sources of non filtered parasitized air intake and humidity introduction in the double wall will be prepared by the manufacturer. No panel crossing will be made on site. * Casings The casing will consist in extruded aluminium chassis withset-off reinforced corners. The mechanical resistance will conform with the norm NF EN 1886 - Class 1-2 - 2A as per particular specification The panels \"double skin\" type with mineral wool insulation, will be in enamalled galvanized metal sheet, with protection for external panels meeting the EN 1886's requirements for a class of transmission T4. The tenderer will precise the resistance of paint coating in relation to RE scale (Resistance Rusting) and to reference design. To limit condensing phenomena, the thermal bridges will be treated in order to reach the EN 1886's requirements for a class TB4 for thermal bypass. * Construction code The material must be in agreement with : * French NORMS : NF * European NORMS : IEC and conform to CE * Guarantees

The manufacturer will have to guarantee and provide the documents establishing : * The conformity of material with specifications as well as norms and construction codes NORMS AND CONSTRUCTION CODES. * The performances of material, in particular : - heating and cooling output - air flow - available pressure - filters efficiency - fans curves * Inspection and test A factory inspection with test will be planned by the prime contractor before shipment of material * Documents to be enclosed with the submission * Technical specifications as per enclosed annex * Pressure and output level spectrum -> At the AHU intake -> At the AHU discharge -> Radiated by the AHU * The resistance of paint coating in relation to the scale RE
