Power Tool - Lightness Vs Significance V.S.Kumar What is significance?

Significance is a state of mind where a person is overshadowed by the dark side of an event of life which is a constant up and down rhythm. The concept of significance and lightness can be best understood by the ying yang ball. Significance is that dark portion of ying yang were the individual puts himself into asking a number of questions like 1. WHY ME? 2. WHERE IS MY REEP? 3. IS THIS HOW IT ALL ENDS?

All such inner dialogue puts the individual pulls the individual in the dark side of the ying yang balance where he is blindfolded to see the infinite positive outcome of this current event.

Character traits in the significance zone a) wrong appraisals or constant pre judgmental decisions b) Low self esteem and poor self awareness c) Display of anger due to the so thought disappointment d) Inaction and procrastination What is Lightness?

Lightness is again a state of mind wherein the individual is able to understand and appreciate the infinite positive outcomes prevailing in the same situation or event of life. He is able to detach himself from the strings of significance and liberates himself to positive thinking and actions. Lightness is the white or the bright side of the ying yang were the individual appreciates inert potential and re-frames the situation into a set of positive beliefs such as a) Hey! Let me explore something new ! b) I can see the light at this end of the tunnel! c) I believe.. I can.. And I will!

Every situation presents the individual with two choices Significance > Lightness Lightness > significance

When S > L then, as a coach one can apply the SEE FEEL CHANGE GROW model introduced by me which would facilitate positivity and transformation in the correct path resulting in Lightness.

When L > S then, the result of the SEE FEEL CHANGE GROW model takes shape and the individual enters the room full of positivity and Lightness leading to happiness.

Can one move from the Zone of Significance into the Zone of Lightness ? YES ..

Here is my own Case ; that I would like to share, POWER of LIGHTNESS In 2009 , Mid of October , I volunteered to head sales of the Chronic Division in my organization. The challenges were many and we were to new to the therapeutic segment which works in fierce environment. The metric were not up to the mark and eventually the proprietor has appointed a new CEO to re-engineer the division. In this process new sales head was appointed and I was shifted to training from the Hard Core sales . To me ,having 25 years of meritorious selling career , this event took me to the zone of SIGNIFICANCE . I was more Judgmental, exhibiting my inner angry through disrespect , indifference and lack of commitment , low energy , inactions. Could not move forward a bit . This the time , I enrolled myself to ICA program and got the insight and Importance of Coaching. I had great support from my coaches. Dr Chandrasekar, Dr Prabha,chandrasekar, Ms Katrina Jones, Mr Joseph Dey , Ms Anshu and Dr Subha Rajan . All of them have facilitated me and coached me to understand the Power of lightness . In the same situation, they Shown me the scope of Training and coaching field has for a person like me having hard core selling and Mentoring experience of over 25 years. I wish to thank and acknowledge to each one of them for their Contribution to me and me moving to Zone of Lightness. The powerful questions asked were.. 1. Is it an end of Kumar? 2. How I feel and behave when I am in the zone of Significance ? 3. What is the real issue for My inactions ? 4. I am I committed to achieving what I really want to achieve? 5. How I acknowledge my own progress ? 6. What Structers that I can create? 7. How I feel in the Zone of Lightness ? The tools we applied were: a) Emotional De layering, b) Reframing Perspectives , c) Visualization

d) creating structures e) Joint accountability f) Celebrations of small wins With all this excellent processes, I myself could SEE, FEEL, CHANGE & GROW as a Coach . I could create this experience of mine as a Coaching Model as well . Presently, I do the training Assignment effectively in the same organization with Passion . I have created e learning blog SANKALP VIKAS for my team members to benefit and running it effectively by providing resources to enrich their Knowledge ,Skill, Attitude and Habits.

Lightness empowers to FLY, To Move forward With REALEYES .
