The Workspace concept:


Local Workspace: Working locally by loading jobs from the BMC CONTROLM/Enterprise Manager DB. Exclusive access will be granted over the jobs. Definitions can be saved in a draft file, which can be later be reopen Online Workspace: Working on the BMC CONTROL-M/Enterprise Manager DB the user is granted access over the relevant jobs. Save will occur directly in the DB

The new JEF Concept

Automatic Prerequisite Condition Deletion

Problem: when rerunning group of jobs, they may run out of order

Possible solutions:
Operator manually deletes the relevant conditions Manually defining an Out-condition with a minus sign

Prerequisite Conditions Enhancements

BMC CONTROL-M/Desktop user can configure the following new options:


Automatic deletion: If an In condition is no longer needed after the successor job runs, the successor job can delete that condition by define it as an Out condition to be deleted (with - sign). This option automatically add this Out condition for every dependency Conditional inheritance: Linked jobs will automatically inherit jobs conditions if deleted
