One of the core challenges within the trade services market today, especially in larger banking institutions with a global presence, is the inefficiency associated with older, non-integrated technology. It is not uncommon for a global bank to be operating multiple trade finance systems and versions from different vendors throughout their organizations, making it nearly impossible to run trade as one business across the bank. Worse yet, the technology in place does not easily or inexpensively address the next generation of trade banking solutions increasingly required by customers. While the desire for an end-to-end bank-wide trade platform often exists, the upfront costs associated with achieving this goal have been prohibitive. The Banks Transaction Processing System


Transactions completed in the Trade Portal or images scanned in by a banks service centers are automatically sent to the banks processing center(s), where they are processed by bank staff using the Trade360 Trade Processing System, built specifically to handle global trade processing. Trade360s imaging and workflow technology, which is fully embedded into the trade processing system, provides the ability

Connecting the Bank to Trade360


To connect the banks to the Trade360 platform is the highly scalable Trade360 middleware, which enables the communication between the Trade360 data centers and the banks internal systems. Standardized messages created using Extensible Markup Language (XML) are transported to Trade360s customers via WebSphere MQ, which maintains a complete audit trail and message confirmations for all interfaces, and assures once-only message delivery.
