Clyde Elementary and Intermediate Watch D.O.G.S. Program WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) are fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator. Watch D.O.G.S. was implemented at Clyde Elementary in 2011-2012 and continues in 2012-2013 as the Clyde Intermediate campus joins in the Watch D.O.G.S. effort.

Technology Improvements at CCISD
Clyde CISD understands the value of technology for todays learner as each classroom has an interactive device along with a document camera and varying other devices to enhance learning. Technology Improvements abound at Clyde CISD in the classroom. With the deployment of over two hundred iPads in the last year along with new computer labs and a significant boost to the wireless infrastructure, the district continues to make technology a priority for their learners.

Clyde High School PALS team up with Backpacks for Kids


CHS PALs students are actively Involved in the learning of students on both the elementary and intermediate campuses at Clyde CISD through the PALs mentor program and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Last year, these students took on the citys Backpack for Kids program where they provide food for disadvantaged students.

Clyde Junior High has embraced Instructional Rounds in the classroom, a twenty first century Instructional strategy. Instructional Rounds has created a common language at CJH as well as common expectations to improve achievement levels and give the campus a constant vision upon which to improve. CJH is a project based learning campus with a focus on rigor and relevance in the classroom. CJH competes in Robotics, Athletics, UIL, Band, Choir, Theater

Clyde High School offers multiple CTE courses (CNA, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts At CHS 93 students took PSAT 96% of CHS students received National Career Readiness Certificates 50+ students advanced to State level in Band, Choir, Ag, Robotics, Rower Lifting, and Cross X Debate Clyde High School advanced to the playoffs in Boys/Girls Cross Country, Girls Softball, Girls Basketball and Football as well as Regional Qualifiers in track/ field and golf.
