The PGP junior is a midrange rotor for commercial and residential sites with all the same features as the original. Its smaller radius is scaled down as an alternative to multi-row spray applications. This version of the worlds top-selling sprinkler is adaptable where a spray would be used, yet you get the benefits of a rotor. Paired with larger rotors to join big and small areas in a single zone, the PGJ gives you more efficient options not found with a spray. Fewer valves and stations, less labor. Bottom line: Fewer heads can perform the same work at a more competitive cost. Go figure.

People speculate about rotors vs. spray heads. Everyone has a different approach, and sometimes its a matter of personal preference. Still, chances are youll need about three times as many spray heads as rotors for the same area. In the case of the PGJ, using one-third as much water as sprays, its ideal for clay and loam soils, and on slopes. There are plenty of reasons to get rotors. Our larger water droplets are unfazed by the primary nozzle, less likely to be diffused by a blustery wind. Lower velocity reduces seed washout in newly planted areas as well.
