No Hostel Accommodation will be provided to Local Students of 1st Year B.Tech. (Hons) 2012 batch students (except PH and Girls Students). Fees to be Paid at the time of Admission In addition to the Fees (Rs. 35000/- or Rs. 25000/-) already deposited in the form of DD by the Candidates, the following fee will be charged: (a) Institute fee in the form of Demand Draft in favour of IRECTOR, D N.I.T. -:: 2 ::(b) The fresh candidates getting the allotment of seat in the THIRD ROUND have to deposit Rs. 37,750/- as a Tuition Fee in the form of Demand Draft in favour of DIRECTOR, N.I.T. Jamshedpur, payable at Jamshedpur An amount of Rs. 880/- in Cash has to be deposited by each students against Processing + Medical Fees. An advance of Rs 8000/- only as Mess Charge per semester has to be deposited by each boarder of hostels to the respective hostel Wardens (Hostel-C or D or Girls) Bank Accounts at the time of Semester registration. An advance of Rs. 1000/- only as Maintenance Charge per year (Academic Session) has to be deposited by each boarder of hostels to the respective hostel Wardens (Hostel-C or D or Girls) Bank Accounts at the time of every Odd Semester registration. A grace period of fifteen (15) days from the date of registration is allowed for depositing advances mentioned in (d) & (e). This relaxation has been considered in view of the inability of newly admitted students in 1 st Semester to assess the banking facility at the Institute.
